Fully adjustable and so easy to use. Works very, very well to relieve dry eye. Its much better to have the heat applied dry rather than with a warm compress towel. And with these thick pads it will stay warm for as long as you need it to. You can even massage the beads around to cover your eye and put the heat just where you need it. Highly recommend.
I never realized how dry my eyes were until I used this! I heated it in the microwave for 25s, and left it on my eyes for a little over 5 mins. It's so relaxing and works almost instantly to release the oils in my eyes. I love this so much that I recommended to my co-workers and at least 5 of them have bought this product!
Since receiving this product about 10 days ago, I have not had to use any dry eye drops whatsoever. I find using it in the morning and again at dinnertime the best results for me. Vision is a little blurry for a few minutes but after clearing, I have no redness or itchiness. I have since ordered 2 more in order to have a spare and it still works just great. Have only used dry eye drops twice in 2 months
This is great. It heats up almost instantly (20 seconds in the microwave is fine) and lasts more than the 5 minutes everyone suggests for warm compresses. It definitely stimulates tears and seems to provide some moisture itself which adds to that, so it cures my itchy eyelids and makes cleansing them much easier, too.
The product works nicely. 25 seconds in the microwave and it's good to go. Stays warm for a good 5 mins at least. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the eye patches being so far apart from each other. Not sure the reason for this. I notice many people have mentioned this yet the problem still hasn't been resolved by the manufacturer.
Product works well as described. The heat lasts for a good 5 minutes. But this was given 3 stars due to the poor design of the eye location as they are way to far apart especially when velcroed tight to the head to give a flush compress to the eyes. This can be solved by pinching the nose portion together with something but the manufacture needs to just make the eye gap smaller.
I have purchased this product twice, first for myself and shortly after for a family member. It's the perfect solution for extremely dry eyes and so easy to use. It's so much better than a damp facecloth for ease of use and stays warm for a long time. I often leave it on even after it has cooled down. The eye pads are a little far apart but I lie back, put them in place and relax. I don't use the strap. It was also very happy with how quickly my purchases arrived.
READ THIS if you think this product can help because you overuse the computer/phone/TV, etc..
It's warm but if your eyes are dry from computer use its better to do eye exercises and take breaks - this doesn't really replace that or really help much at all.
And although this is cheap you may need to buy it many times as it is not a one-time lifetime item so hope my tips below help.
I bought it thinking exercises didn't help enough to do exercises/breaking but actually it's my exercises and breaks weren't adequate enough (especially not breaking properly or skipping on them).
So basically, what is WAYYYY more helpful for computer eye strain are the 20-20-20 rule (take breaks every 20 minutes for 20 seconds to stare at something at least 20 metres away) and eyeball rolling to get the eye muscles all strengthened and used (parts of your eye muscles are used less so are weaker and tend to strain faster), as well as blinking slowly (1/2 second closing and slowly opening), there are many more free eye exercises that are more helpful than this.
