I’ve been really struggling with the new area rub I bought at Christmas. It was moving all over the floor. Someone suggested I try this stuff to put under it. I went search and found this. I wouldn’t have believed it worked if I haven’t experienced it myself. No matter what the carpet does not move. I can vacuum, the kids wrestle, it doesn’t move.

I bought my first rug ever and the site I bought it from had anti-slip rug pads which costed half the price of the rug itself. I took some time to look up Amazon before making any rash decisions and I found this non-slip rug pad which was one-fifth the price and does a great job. I strongly recommend this product - just make sure you get the right size.

Terrible smell

I opened the package and was hit with a very intense chemical smell. The off-gassing and content of this product is something that concerns me enough to return it. The purpose was to use it under my family room rug... where my toddler plays. I don't trust that this chemical smell isn't bad for the health of my family.

Better than expected. Thought I'd have to 2-way tape my area rug to my hardwood and get the hardwood all sticky until I found this. Not sure why you would use anything else, my rug feels like it is glued to 1 place without damaging anything. If any pieces stick out either fold them under or cut them off.

This product works very well on textured surfaces like laminate flooring. I put one under my shower mat because the mat itself would slide around on my tile floor. It does not seem to want to stick to that flooring. It does help a little bit with slippage, but I would not recommend this padding for smooth surfaces.
