I am one of the few people who in years gone by, had the priveledge, as a compere to bring this chap on stage to entertain people before he became famous. I said it then and I say again he was just waiting to be discovered. His act was out of this world and audiences did not want to let him off the stage. One encore was never enough.
This album has brought all that back to me in his usual totally proffessional way.
Well done Russ, I hope you will continue entertaining for some time to come.

The Rocket - Buckinghamshire
still the bestReviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 January 2014
This Russell Watson CD whilst being a compilation, highlights Opera excerpts that all will know and enjoy. No pretentious dabbling with marginal pieces, just good well known fare. This CD shows that Russell is still far and away our best tenor for years. A clarity of voice and great power, with sympathetic interpretation. Other tenors will come and go in popularity ,but the class of Russell Watson will keep him firmly as No.1

Worth listening tooReviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 February 2016
Such a wonderful voice, a lot of these pieces on this CD can be found on other ADs but still worthy of purchasing. If you get a chance to see Russell live go especially smaller venues, (seen him at big venues and at Warner Hotels and holiday parks) he loves getting close to his audience. Must have.
Great AlbumReviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 September 2016
Great album sung by a great voice and a good selection of classical operatic arias. However I do feel that Somewhere from West Side Story is somewhat out of place and could have been replaced by an aria from Carmen instead.
