Optimised for Static Pressure During the development of P12, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan ensures extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P12 is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators.	More Efficient Technology The motor is powered by a Magnet ring, which allows P12 PWM to run much more efficiently than its predecessors. This saves energy and lowers the coil temperature without comprimising the performance.	200 to 1800 RPM regulated via PWM Thanks to the 4-pin connector, the RPM can be regulated in a broad spectrum via PWM. In this way, noise is kept at a minimum while maximum cooling performance is guaranteed when needed.	High Quality Bearing Thanks to a special technology developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is reduced and greater efficiency is achieved. As a result, there is less heat development as well as less bearing noise, which means you can enjoy a longer service life from your fan.

I installed 4 of the P12 PMW fans on my computer. Replaced my cooler fan, 2 front and 1 exhaust. They seemed OK at first but when they started to spin up they make this really noticeable whining noise at around 1000-1100 rpm... I thought one may be one is defensive but all 5 in the package was doing this! drove me insane because it was so noticeable every time when the fan hits the affected rpm...

I've also noticed temperature was substantially higher than the provided deep cool fan that came with my cooler.
Wasted time and effort and very disappointed with this product. Guess I''ll be sticking to Noctua.

Very annoying whine around 1100RPM

I bought 7 fans and most of them have a very loud and annoying whine around 1000-1150 RPM (varies a bit per fan). A little lower or higher and the noise will start pulsating which is even worse. It's a whopping 15dB louder than the surrounding frequencies making those RPMs unusable. This persists even when switching to voltage RPM control. Works fine from 500-900RPM or 1250-1900RPM but the former doesn't move enough air whilst the latter is too loud for me. Transitioning between the two safe zones with a fan curve is a no-go.

Build quality is lower compared to Bequiet or Noctua, with no antivibration pads or even screw threads.

Performance is very good within the 2 safe zones. Noise profile is subjectively very nice; like rushing air instead of a jet engine.

Incredible bang for buck fans

I purchased 8 of these for my new PC case (Lian Li Lancool II Mesh Performance) and all of them work great! They push a lot more air than my NZXT fans but are whisper quiet. According to some videos online there's meant to be some coil whine at around 1000 RPM but haven't found anything to report. Arctic make some damn great fans!

P.S. Two of the eight had cracked brackets but I was refunded for those ones.

These fans are incredibly efficient at moving air around a case. It's great that they also come with an inline PWM splitter as it makes it very easy to daisy chain a few together and save on motherboard fan headers.

The only downside to these is that they have an annoyingly audible whine at around 1100RPM - 1300RPM. You can avoid this by adjusting fan curves to account for this and skip that range, but still annoying nonetheless.

A nice simple fan, no rgb rubbish and they weren't kidding when they say it's silent. One should note that when screwing it into the case, there are no grooves waiting to receive the screw, just a smooth plastic cylinder that the screw digs through making it's own groove. This means you may have to apply a little more pressure to dig through the plastic but it isn't a big deal

Great little fans for a solid price. They run quiet and keep cool. Design is minimalist. My mini-ITX build required a lot of cable routing, so some of the cables wouldn't reach my fan hub. Luckily, each of these fans has a header so you can daisy chain them together, and simply connect the closest one. I have a Noctua NF-F12 and the difference between the two in terms of noise and performance is negligible. Can't go wrong.

L’unica cosa che manca a queste ventole è la sigla CO (Continuous Operation) che grazie ad un doppio cuscinetto a sfere giapponese riesce a garantire una vita più duratura, ma dato il costo leggermente superiore sono stato fermato dal prenderle.

Auf der Suche nach einem leisen und kostengünstigen Lüfter mit gutem Luftdurchsatz bin ich beim Arctic P12 PWM gelandet.

Der Lüfter wurde schnell und gut verpackt geliefert. Er macht einen wertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Auch
Das Anschließen klappte problemlos. Allerdings sind die mitgelieferten Schrauben nicht mit meinem PC-Gehäuse "kompartibel", sodass ich mir passende Schrauben im Baumarkt kaufen musste. Es wäre praktischer, wenn einfach 2-3 verschiedene Größen mitgeliefert werden und dafür der Preis des Lüfters um einen Euro erhöht wird.

Die Lüftersteuerung funktioniert einwandfrei. Soweit ich das beurteilen kann ist der Luftzug relativ stark und der Lüfter sehr leise. Manch andere Lüfter quietschen oder neigen zu einem hochfrequenten Ton. Dies konnte ich hier nicht feststellen. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden damit.

I have been a customer of Arctic fans for a good while and I am yet to be disappointed. They provide an excellent and cost-effective method of adding case fans, without any unnecessary features. Whilst the lack of LEDs, plain appearance, and white blades won't appeal to case modders, these fans offer an excellent solution for cooling high-performance systems with a more traditional or professional aesthetic.

I'd definitely say that these are an excellent solution for providing drive-bay cooling in particular.

I would buy again without a thought!

Cons:
Compared to the £25 Noctua a12x25s, the noise profile is not as warm. There are what seems to be be, bearing noises at certain rpms so rather than use pwm function, these are hard set to an rpm that does not make a noise.

Commenting on pure performance, the Artics dont do badly and I think that if I didn't already have a12s, they would get a higher rating. It's the air noise they generate though that isn't as pleasing to the ear as the Noctuas. I can live with it even though they aren't as efficient as the A12s - 3/5 for performance.

The daisy chain cables could be shorter but it is a great feature. It's a fan though. Quality of build 5/5

Price:
For one brown fan, I could buy 5 of these. And that's where these excel. Yes, the performance isn't AS good, but it's close. The PWM function is useless but I can avoid that with fixed rpm and just buying a few more fans (case permitting)
I love my browns, but justifying £75 for one radiator instead of £15 didn't sit right. At a very low rpm, these fans don't move enough air through the radiator to keep the liquid cool.

BUT comparing it to a £25 fan isn't a fair battle.
Considering that these are in the case as opposed to my NF12s and NP12s speaks for itself though.
The fact it can take on the battle in the first place makes this a 5/5 fan. True value for money.
