I enjoyed the three of these books, although to be honest I can only remember the last one. It had drama, romance everything a good book requires. Well done.
This story is a classic case of ‘who done it!’ Alex is the jerk of a virtuoso pianist - he’s playing the best musical halls by night but who also is the CEO of his family’s business Petrov Chemicals by day. Elizabeth is the PA who is hired to help him out but her motives for being there aren’t as they might seem. This book is not in Teagans usual style but it’s still well written with enough suspense to keep you reading to find out what is going on. * I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book *
Adagio by Teagan Kade although an exciting story with quite a few twists didn't quite do it for me. Overall a great read just not my favourite from Teagan. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book & voluntarily leave my review.

What a tangled web has been woven for us by Teagan Kade to keep us guessing in the most delicious way! We meet Alex who is a Russian playboy and pianist extraodinaire who has trouble keeping his pants on but always only for one night and that's it. He gets a new PA in the form of Elizabeth whose father was a jazz pianist that he admires. His first encounter with Elizabeth is when she goes to introduce herself when he has just finished a concert. It is one meeting that she is unlikely to ever forget! The thing is that they are both keeping secrets from one another that could very well stop them being a couple. His brother is to be kept at all costs away from Elizabeth and Alex does he very best to dispel any idea that they are a couple as Dimitri will use her as bargaining tool to get what he wants. I loved the Glasshouse but don't know if I would have wanted to use the clothes like Elizabeth did as I do not think that they were bought especially for her! There is even a panic room! Plenty of red hot passion with steaming chemistry that they cannot deny. I did love the scene when the "family" came to the lakeside one morning as that was quite magical. Around the world with a jet set lifestyle being in New York one moment and the next in Siberia. But what happens when Elizabeth is taken and what will Alex do? I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED Adagio
4.0 out of 5 starsIt should have been an edge of your seat ride, but was more like a carousel. Underwhelming 🙁

I am a fan Teagan’s book. Unf, this isn’t a fav. This story is about 🤭Alex and Lizzy. Alex is the CEO of Petrov Chemicals, he’s also a Russian Billionaire and a professional pianist playing at the most exclusive musical halls in the U.S. Elizabeth scores herself a role as his PA, however her motives are not as innocent as she is. When an asassination attempt is made on Alex with Lizzy in the car, he rushes her off to his safehouse, a glasshouse in the remote Siberian mountains. Alone, she discovers there is much more to this man then she first thought. When the lies are revealed, things get heated. Alex is faced with a dilemma, fight for Lizzy or risk losing his company shares to his brother. I dislike giving criticism to an author I genuinely like but this story left me underwhelmed. It just never got very intense or suspenseful especially for this kind of story. I expected it to be dark, more thrilling, edge of your seat, but I’m sad to say, it wasn’t, it’s felt more PG rated. The story didn’t flow, it was choppy and robotic. The effort was there, it just didn’t wasn’t enough. It won’t stop me from buying or reading the next book from this author though 😊. 5.0 out of 5 starsA symphony of suspense, emotion, and passion

When Alex first appears on page, he's hateful and crude. As the story progresses, the author peels back the layers of his character. And yes, I ended up falling in love with him. Elizabeth is hired as Alex's PA. I will say, she doesn't do much PAing in this story—a fact she often mentions. The heat between these two is scorching and frequent. But with all the heat, there's a story rich in plot, emotion, and passion. The scene building is stellar as the characters travel to different locations. And it's obvious the author either knows her music or has done research. Even the music plays such a critical role in the story it almost becomes another character.
This wouldn't be a Teagan Kade book without a secondary heart-pounding suspense storyline. And this one has that in spades with blackmail, betrayal, and action. Deception is plentiful—from the very start—and nothing is as it appears.
Finally, this story paralleled a musical score, finishing with a resounding ending.
Side note: There are tons of references to Games of Throne in here. So if you're a fan, then it's an added bonus.
Alexander Petrov is a Russian Billionaire playboy, a concert pianist, and CEO of the family business left to him and his brother Dimitri. Elizabeth is hired to be his PA, but is appalled by his behavior when they meet for the first time. She quits, but Alex goes after her and apologizes and rehires her. Elizabeth is actually a corporate spy with the intent of getting close to Alex to steal company secrets. He suspects she's up to something. He wanted her from the beginning and she ends up falling for him. The chemistry between them is hot and steamy. Will the secrets and lies destroy what they have? Don't miss this one! I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't put it down. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I also purchased my own copy. Patsy Sacco

Alex Petrov was a pianist, philanthropist, CEO of Petrov Chemicals, and a gorgeous sexy dominating male. Alex was working to right the wrongs by Petrov Chemicals that resulted in many deaths and injuries that occurred while his Father was in charge along with crooked company board members.
Elizabeth was hired to be his Personal Assistant; When they first met at the conclusion of one of his performances, he immediately stripped off his clothes and ordered her to go down on him. She ran and vowed not to go back. Alex chased after her and convinced her to go with him.
Along with the rather steamy and kinky sex, the book also has a bit of mystery and espionage that involves Elizabeth sneaking pictures of files and sending them to a Petrov Chemical competitor. An additional foe is Alex's brother Dimitri, who is involved in illegal activity.
I recommend reading Adagio;it's my opinion you won't be disappointed.
