A Strange Product from a Strange Company

I didn't like this product. The capsules looked strange, they tasted strange and the conduct of the company who manufactures them is also strange. I felt the capsules were bland, lacking strength and I would rate them below supermarket brands such as Moccona, Lavazza and Starbucks. The outer packaging looks nice but as you can see in the pictures, they don't really match the colour of the capsules.

I bought one pack of these capsules in Strong and one pack in Intense on a whim as they were on sale for $2.43 each with Subscribe & Save. However, I was reluctant to buy this product because there was no information available online about this company. The only things I could find were a trademark for "Alora Coffee Company" filed by Coffee Caps Pty Ltd and a lot of information about the packaging's design.

When I received the product, Coffee Caps Pty Ltd was listed on the packaging as the manufacturer - however, there is no mention of Alora Coffee Co on their website. They also have the Rainforest Alliance logo and certification on their packaging but there is no mention of Alora Coffee Co or Coffee Caps Pty Ltd as a certified supplier on the Rainforest Alliance website.

I contacted the Rainforest Alliance for further information but they never got back to me and Amazon were also unhelpful in providing any information about this company. I don't think it's good enough for Coffee Caps Pty Ltd or Amazon to have a product listed on here that has no information that can be found online - at the very least, Coffee Caps Pty Ltd should be listed as the manufacturer.

So so, the Pods get stuck!

I wanted to like this product since it is better priced than the Nespresso but the experience was poor.
The quality of the coffee is rather poor compared to the original Nespresso.
The annoying part is the quality of the pods themselves, they often get stuck in my Nespresso machine, and i have to manually remove them (it is not the machine since it does not happen with the Nespresso pods.

I was looking for a more reasonable priced Nespresso coffee pods and found these. The quality of the coffee is rather poor compared to the original Nespresso Colombia or Rosabaya.

These capsules are a very poor quality and not properly compatible as they continuously get stuck in my Nespresso machine. The tin foil on the capsule has actually peeled off and got stuck inside the machine. Even if they tasted great (which they don't), I wouldn't give these capsules another go as the hassle of trying to fish the capsules out of my machine is definitely not worth it.

Ok, good things first, they taste great.
The price is excellent
But, they are not really compatible with Nespresso machines. You need to hold them in place to fit and this is a manual process. Not a big deal but with a little better design they would get a 10 out of 10 from me
