Top reviews from other countries
Compared to other brands the AC is more flexible in that you can adjust the settings-to a degree.
It has a pretty decent zoom and the picture quality holds up against other brands. Battery is also fairly decent.
Here's where it fails; if you have ANY granite in your home, whether aesthetic or functional, forget it. This unit will lose signal again and again.
Having said that, probably lots of units that are radio and not WiFi (which I simply would never use because of safety concerns) will have this problem.
Another thing that is frankly very annoying is the alert noise that sounds whenever the unit is running out of battery or out of signal. It is loud and invasive and more than once it has woken up our baby in the next room.
My mum bought a much cheaper, non-branded monitor and to be absolutely honest, the AC only beats it in one respect; it's zoom. But for the sake of £90, I'm not sure that's worth it.
In conclusion; it's good but you pay 70% of the price for the name.
Does the job very well. Great monitor. Battery holds for up to 14h at start.
Unfortunately our battery died after 12 months - we've been using it badly, constantly on cable charging - that killed it.
I found a replacement one and had to do some DIY with the unit but now the new battery holds up to 9h. Still very good. Warranty of course down the drain.
