BUT I got these today and so far they are ridiculously comfortable - and the sound quality is fantastic! I thought I’d miss the noise cancelling of the pros but honestly I don’t. Super happy with this purchase. Also enjoyed the easier to recycle packaging apple have shifted to!

I've had the 1st and 2nd gen airpods. I never really liked the airpod pros but thought I'd give these a go. The size of the earpiece is ridiculous. They don't really fit inside your ear like the original ones, so many times they just fall out. The part to hold and push the button on the microphone piece is so short its hard to use. I'm a massive Apple fan, but think they got this one wrong.

i’m not all that into noise cancellation since i still can’t hear whats happening outside with full music blasting into my ears, so noise cancellation isn’t a big deal to me— making these airpods more worth than airpods pro considering the price difference is big. initially, when i held the earphones, they felt and look really big but luckily they fit my ears and are hard to fall off (if you have been told you have small ears but many others, i dont recommend these or else they wont fit). otherwise, these are an extremely light and comfortable fit for my ears (i have average-sized ears). the audio quality is amazing though. i dont regret using my money on this product. 10/10 is worth of my life, blood, sweat and tears.

No complaints on sound quality. Connectivity is fine also.
Biggest issue I have is they just won't stay on and keep falling off every 5 mins. Forget about rinning in these. I bought these for the sole purpose of using in gym or running outdoors but even in daily wear they fall off.
Suppose it really depends on your ear canal size. It is not 1 size fits all. Wish I could return these.

Poor design and not suitable for running

First time I've purchased these and they are poorly designed. They don't fit comfortably in the ear and easily fall out when walking if not pushed right in, which is uncomfortable. Apple markets them as exercise friendly - after running 2 minutes, they both nearly fell out. The only way to keep them in is to twist the base facing upwards, which distorts the sound. Sound quality is good.
The pause / skip track button is difficult to find and you almost have to remove the aripod to touch the sensor. As for the Siri function...when I received a text it asked me if I would like it read out. I requested this and Siri responds that I have to 'unlock the Iphone' first....which defeats the whole purpose of hands free functionality.
Such a waste of money.

I previously had airpod gen 2’s which I used daily for almost 3 years. Just the other day one of them fell apart and the audio stopped in that ear so I needed to purchase a replacement.

The gen 2’s are still available and at a good price. I watched many videos and decided to get these gen 3’s.

In a word, these are AWESOME. Significantly improved volume, much greater range of audio and the spatial audio is fantastic. Wireless charging works perfectly.

I was initially concerned because some videos commented on the slightly larger size and whether they would fit in your ear, but these fit perfectly. The slightly larger size allows for a larger audio driver and you can tell the difference. You can crank up the audio so loud and the clarity is notably improved over the gen 2’s.

I am super happy with these and would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering purchasing them.

Kept falling out of my ear whilst walking and lost a pod

I finally got some ipods and am really sorry to find they are not fit for purpose. I don't have exceptionally small ears at all, I am an average female (5"7 medium build) but they kept getting lose when walking, and one actually vibrated out and was lost on my way home from work. I found the fit difficult to get comfortable, and couldn't adjust unfortunately. I have had to revert to my powerbeats headphones for when walking or doing any activity apart from sitting.

As an owner of both the airpods pro and airpods 3, here's my 2 cents worth. The only thing airpods pro win is the anc. Sound quality wise, airpods 3 is better but not by a large mile. Only better in the lower and mids frequency. So it depends on your perspective. Need anc, get the pro. Otherwise gen 3 is good enough.

Bulky and Poor Fit

The earbuds are bulky and don't fit snuggly into ears. It feels like they can fall easily if I move too fast while on the go. There're accessories such as silicon tips with hooks which one can buy, but after paying 200 bucks for a pair of earphones, why should I need to pay more to compensate for poor product design?

Sound quality is not exceptional compared to predecessor Gen 1 which I still have. Overall disappointed
