Simply fill the Aquadoodle pen with ordinary tap water, run the nib over the magic mat and see the colours appear!

Any water that does run off the mat, runs clear. No mess, no stains, nothing to worry about. As the drawing dries, designs fade away, ready for the mat to be used again, over and over again. When you need to, just refill the Aquadoodle pen with water and go!

Around the edges, kids will discover lots of different shapes and colourful characters to copy and inspire. Combine them into a story, perhaps, then start all over again. Inside the border are hidden letters and numbers to trace and colour over – a great way to learn to copy basic writing strokes.

When they’ve finished, the mat folds up for easy storage, ready for the next time. Additional Aquapens sold separately.

I bought the Tomy brand after buying a cheaper alternative that turned out to be pretty rubbish. I wish I'd bought Tomy Aquadoodle in the first place, as this is a much better quality product, both in terms of sheet and pens. The pens in the cheaper version were so rubbish, it just frustrated my daughter and me. Tomy Aquadoodle all the way from now on. Great product.

Best piece of drawing mat for my little 15 month old. She still enjoys doodling on it. I had to get another pen as she did chew the tip a little more than expected.

Easy to wash with hot soapy towel, leave it to dry and it's good as new.

Normal drawing with the provided pen, last around 5 minutes before fading out by the 10th minute. Just enough time for the little one to enjoy and restart a new set of drawing.

Really really happy with this purchase. My little one absolutely LOVES it. It's of good quality and couldn't be much simpler to use. So far it's provided hours of fun and I would wager will continue to do so for a while. Great, non-messy, option for introducing your child/children to using a pen and the creativity that comes with it. The pen is robust and has taken a beating and has been sucked and chewed to oblivion and is still ticking! I was a bit edgy about the price initially as it's such a simplistic bit of kit, but the quality merits it I think.
