Top reviews from other countries

The reviews said that it was overpriced and it wasn't sturdy, and they were right! I bought this because no matter where I looked (Walmart, IKEA, Home Depot, Costco, etc), I couldn't find a simple DVD rack. So it was between this one and the other version by the same company that's made of plastic. Due to the dark brown finish on this and it matches my bed and computer desk, I opted for this one. Spoiler: I would not recommend buying this or the plastic version for the reasons below:
CONS:
- The sturdiness plain sucks. If you don't use the little rope thing to attach one side (it doesn't come with two... which is odd) of the rack to the wall, you literally pull a game out and everything falls like dominos. The slider holders aren't good either. I had to install a metal plate to hold it against the wall, which obviously isn't ideal as if I want to move the rack, I have to unscrew the plate from the wall...
- Regardless of building this 100% correctly (feet are on properly too, as some reviews say people may have missed that - I did not!), the whole rack leans to the right (even when there's no DVDs/games on it!)
PROS:
- It looks nice. It's cheap wood and everything on it is lightweight. Glad I chose this one over the plastic one, but the price for this thing, in general, is $40 too much for what you get. Not exactly dollar store quality, but pretty close!
- It holds games my Xbox One/Xbox 360 games... but refer back to the sturdiness of the rack in the "Cons" section above...
Overall, I would not recommend this rack. You want a rack that is sturdy, this is not. It doesn't even stand up straight regardless of constructing it perfectly. Believe the reviews, and buyer beware!

There was a sight alignment of the dowel on one side that left a small gap on one side when joining the two sub assemblies.
Loading the rack is a bit tricky until you realize that loading two at a time at the bottom using the slider support will prevent the dvds from falling through should the rack can not be flush with the wall as in apartments with baseboard heaters.

Very flimsy and wobbly. CDs topple over if you don't have the divider right up against them. And the divider doesn't even hold steady but rather easily slides out.
Merely removing a CD makes the whole unit shakes.
Don't waste your money like I did. Buy something more sturdy!
