I have been using this clay for a few weeks now and I definitely noticed some changes on my face. Most of my cystic acne has gone flat after one week of using this clay. I can hardly see any blackhead on my nose. This clay might actually work for me but I will give it another 2-3 months. Hopefully I will have no pimples by then.
I mixed the indian clay with Apple Cide Vinegar 1:1.2 ratio and I find that works the best. It creates a nice smooth thick paste.
I mix with apple cider vinager and then put in my face and honestly I do not think my skin has looked this good since I was 19.
It can feel very tight when drying and your skin will be red after you wash it but the next day, my skin looks radiant and glowing.
For the price this mask is worth every cent.
This clay mask worked brilliantly, I have very stubborn blocked pores and this product showed visible results after one use.
With regular use my skin is noticeably clearer.
If you have sensitive skin do small patch test first to see how long it can be left on for.
I have sensitive skin and just wash it off when it starts to feel tingly and have had no problem
I scanned bar code but nothing lead me to manufacture date or something I think this is only product code
No shrink-wrapped Just put it in a zip lock bag.
>a non-tear Calcium Bentonite Clay security sticker on the lid
Yes it was a ordinary paper sticker on it.
Also same label as ordinary products not printed "Version 2" on it.
Looked same product as version 1 (if version 2 exist)
Version 1 is cheaper than this so I do not find any reason to pay more than that.

There will be redness on face after use and will subside in sometime.
Precaution to take -Mix water with apple cider vinegar and gradually increase the proportion of ACV. Do it before sleeping and not before leaving tge house. Most importantly don't become greedy and over do it. It can give you burns if you are not careful. But otherwise a great pack.
It removes dirt oil...makes your skin a littl dry....and a little streches on drying.bt u use it....On removal...it will leave ur skin as fresh as anything.if dryness prevails use a mild oil free gel based moisturizer
And one more thing....make the thickness a little smoothy.....as it will help u in generous application.
Before I start I just wanna say my skin is normal/oily and sensitive. I struggle with breakups and clogged pores.
I’ve seen this mask for awhile now and it was so hyped up. It took me a few months before I decided to actually try it and I’m in LOVE! I’m gonna be honest, at first I hated this mask. I tried Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar and water and whenever I used it, it never worked and my face would stay red for days and I would break out. I was ready to give up on the product but I decided to give it one last try. Recently, my skins been more sensitive and I would leave the mask on until it got desert dry which was a huge mistake. I watched some more reviews and read some stuff and tinkered with it. Ever since then, it’s been my favorite product in the whole world! It works so well at clearing up skin, reducing dark sports and extracting all the gunk in your pores. I recommend it to everybody. If you wanna try the mask out, I really recommend using APPLE CIDER VINEGAR! Not water, it’s not the same and every single person I’ve seen that mixed it with water hates it. Use ACV with the “mother” you can get a bottle anywhere, just make sure it has the “mother”. I’ve used Braggs and the stop and shop equivalent and they both work great! Don’t mix this with metal, use a plastic mixing utensil and a plastic bowl. When it comes to how you mix it, it’s all a personal preference. There are a ton of recipes online that you can follow. Personally, I like my mixture to be a little bit thicker so I’ll add a bit more of the clay.( I use about a tbs of clay and about 3/4 tbs of ACV, these aren’t exact I eyeball it). You want the clay to acv ratio to be about the same. You can also add other stuff in! I’ve seen people add tea tree oil to honey, this really is versatile. Always do research before you try something though, not all skin types are the same! Also, the tub says it makes about 15 masks but that’s not accurate at all. I’ve been using it for about 5 months now, I’ve defiantly used it more than 15 times and there’s still 3/4 of the tub left. The only real reason it’s down to 3/4 is because i accidentally spilled more powder into my bowl when I was making it.
Overall, this is an amazing face mask.
Use ACV not water
Do research before you try anything because not all skin is the same
Work out your ratio to best suit the mask for your skin type.
So, after a lot of deliberation I figured what the heck, I’ll buy it (because it’s a good price) do it PROPERLY and see what happens.
The first night I did it, I focused mainly on my trouble spots to see if it would reduce the pores and I did not leave it on for longer than ten minutes (honestly it was probably like under ten), I mixed in a glass bowl with a plastic spoon and Braggs ACV ( absolutely no water). I washed it very gently afterwards (saw only a slight redness) and immediately used some vitamin e oil and very natural lotion to prevent dryness. ( I also MADE sure I had CLEAN hands when I lotioned up my face.)
The next morning the spots on my skin were slightly lighter and my pores were not as visible. I have to admit I often stare at my face in the mirror with the horrible bright light on the maginified side and when I did that my pores looked smaller!! This wasn’t a HUGE difference but there was a change, and it made me happy.
I’ve done it a couple more times (yes I know it’s supposed to be once a week), but I really like it. My skin between my eye brows was a little dry today, but a little lotion fixed that up. There has been no extended amounts of redness or breakouts and overall, I like the results.
I definitely recommend this if you are willing, able and patient to test it and go slow. I did not use it on my entire face until the third time because I wanted to see how my problem areas reacted first. Because I didn’t have any problem with it, I moved on to a full face mask. This isn’t a mask that you can just peel on and off, and yes you do have to make sure that chunks of clay don’t go down your drain because it will harden and clog the drain. It takes a little tender, love and care, but it is totally worth it.
Do not be afraid to try it, for 8 dollars it’s really well priced and has done good things for my skin!!
I hope this helps! ❤️ Happy face mask hunting!
I have severe acne which I somehow kept under control by using benzoyl peroxide for over 5 years. But I still hasn't find a permanent cure. Then I found this.
From all the youtube hype, I bought this clay and ditched benzoyl peroxide.
I though it will be my holy grail.
But guess what, my acne was getting out of whack. First week my acne got better bu then I started breaking out terribly on my chin, cheeks, everywhere even on my forehead (which I didn't have because of using BP) . I though it just purging. No it wasn't!
So after 5 months, I'm still suffering the consequences. I switched back to BP, but still my acne getting worse. I think this clay destroyed my moisturizing barrier or something.
And also I THINK I GOT A DUPLICATE ONE MAY BE, Because I couldn't ever feel my skin pulsates. I'm not sure about that.
Shame on you.
You have to mix this with a good quality apple cider vinegar to get the full benefits. Yogurt, water, milk, etc. won't give you the same benefit. Also be EXTREMELY careful not to get it in contact with metals.
This is one of the most powerful clays I've come across. It's strong and it WILL help you with even cystic acne (the under the skin pimples that you can't pop). Sure, you'll have to use the mask a couple of times and if you don't want to use it on your whole face, you can just spot treat as well.
This mask is EXTREMELY drying, so for those of you with dry skin, I would avoid using this as a full mask, and just spot treating any pimples you have. I don't use this mask on my forehead very often. Once of a month, I will use it all over my face while giving myself a deep facial.
Once you take the mask off, it is often common to see redness. That's okay. It will last a couple of hours and go away, so therefore, it's best to use this mask at night.
If you want to give yourself a deep facial follow this ritual:
1. Steam face
2. Use this mask mixed with apple cider vinegar
3. Use a pore strip on nose (Optional)
4. Steam again (Optional)
5. Use a yogurt + besan + turmeric mask
6. Follow it up with a hydrating paper mask.
7. Use a heavy moisturizer.
