My “best hair” results from drying with an oversized round brush and a blower with a concentrator tip, so I first tried this styler with the bigger brush head. My hair was barely damp and had been combed through already, but OUCH this brush head pulled! The smaller brush has more rubbery tips, but it's way too small for my thickness and length. I tried styling smaller sections of hair, and got another OUCH from the heat blowing on my face and ear. And as hot as it gets, the airflow isn’t that strong; I definitely couldn’t dry my hair with this tool alone, it would take forever.
I have had some success with this styler in 2 ways. First, I like using it to re-dry and touch up my hair when I've gotten it slightly damp from being in the shower or tub. Second, I apply a texturing spray to my roots and then use this brush to dry and “set” the volume.
