I am 35 weeks, 185 lbs (yay pregnancy) and I got the medium. Wow I just wanna say I wish I would’ve known about this sooner!! I’ve been struggling with wearing the same 2 pants, now I can wear my jeans again. You do have to be careful the elastic doesn’t come up or you’ll be showing your unzipped pants to the world. But all in all I am so glad I bought this!
Update: I tried to wear this today and made it approx 2 hours. It’s not for me. If you’re sensitive to compression clothing like I am it’s probably not for you either. It was painful and nauseating. It gave me indigestion from breakfast and my back still hurts 15 minutes after removing it. Perhaps if you like strong compression or are very thin this would work for you.
I plan to primarily use the band over the pants extenders. It’s more compression than what I prefer but it should make sure my pants stop falling down or at least cover my crack if they do. I’m currently 12wks
Since these provide good coverage under shirts for a long torso, I wear them a lot, even when not pregnant. I wear a size 4 in pants, so based on the size chart, I bought a size 1, but it was very, very tight, especially if I had been pregnant. I could hardly get it over my hips while wearing jeans. So, I got a size 2, and that also felt tight, but then didn't seem to stay in place. The sticky silicone strip at the bottom end was a good idea, but I find it tends to just roll up. The waistband extenders are a really nice bonus, but I just don't love the product. I like BeBand or Bella Band much better.
The idea of this product is great, I love that it comes with the button extension. I have 2 major problems with this item: 1.) the button extension does not have a secure way to keep buttoned. Aka it comes with a very small button that could easily come undone.
2.) it does not help keep your pants up. Every time I sit down, I have to pull my pants back up when I stand. I’m currently only 21 weeks, but I imagine this problem will only become worse
Pant extender was a bit of a joke. Didn't work for me. But I wore the belly band under my shirt and pants and then just zipped but didn't snap my pants. That way if my pants slid down a little at least I wasn't showing skin (just the band). Don't feel like the band did much in the way of support but it worked well enough for what I needed. Context: first pregnancy, working a job where I was on my feet all day
I absolutely love this belly band! I purchased one during my first trimester so that i could feel held in as baby started growing. It does stretch out kind of fast but after washing it, it shrinks again to a good size. I sweat a lot at work and i think that factors into why it has stretched out a little. I ended up buying the same size for my second trimester and i still love it!
Absolutely love this! Smoothies & rounds out my 2nd trimester bump. The only thing I suggest is maybe buying 2 sizes for when your bump grows. Mine fit great when i was 4-5 mos but the bigger i get, i think I may need to go up one size. I wore this on Mother’s Day @6mos pregnant & noticed i had A lot of indigestion when i ate or drank. Pretty sure it was just a little too tight. But overall the product itself is GREAT!!!! Definitely recommend it
Overall this is a great product! I primarily used them in the beginning of my pregnancy so I could continue to wear my pre-pregnancy pants as long as possible. These were wonderful at helping conceal my unbuttoned bottoms, and smoothing out my is-she-pregnant-or-just-carrying-a-few-extra-pounds belly. They come with button extenders which I wasn’t expecting, but was extremely helpful! Eventually I got too big to continue wearing these, although there have been a few times I would have liked to, so I almost wish I would have gone one size up. But they definitely served me well when I needed them most!
This worked great when I did not have a a big enough belly to hold up maternity jeans. Its very comfortable, and surprisingly supportive. At first I was wary of leaving my zipper down, but this covers that right up and the bottom hem never rides up. I was able to wear my regular jeans straight through to 20 weeks with this product. It looks great under clothes because it comes right up under the bra line.
Surprisingly comfortable, though I’m only 17 weeks and have just now gotten too big to button my jeans. I was afraid of feeling restricted, but I don’t! You do have to be careful to pull it down far enough—it did once roll up far enough to expose my underwear. I’ve learned since then, though, and will consider this a staple maternity piece.
