Fitted and tapered for a womans figure.
This features two handwarmer pockets and a waist toggle.
This fits as expected, a size 14 - bear in mind that these are supposed to be 'fitted' .
This is a decent fleece, but Berghaus haven't used Polartec 100 for this and have opted for a no name possibly recycled fleece.
It's not as soft and as nice to the touch as Polartec 100 and so isn't of the same quality.
This is comparable to most fleece jackets of a mid weight so it can be worn as a jacket or mid layer, but Polartec 100 is the comparable branded material and Polartec is better - so if you find a similar fleece in Polartec 100 for the same sort of price, I'd go for that rather than this as it's not cheap and Craghoppers plus other makes would be better options for the price.
I ordered this as size 14 for my wife who is normally a size 12 and it fitted well although the arm length was a bit long so if in doubt order the next size up. The Fleece is a good length in the body, slightly fitted and cut well. The collar covers up the neck and the sleeve ends are not elasticated so they will fit over gloves and it is easy to take on and off. The material is 50% recycled which is new to me but it is also warm and soft while also being reasonably lightweight. This is a nice fleece although you are probably pay a bit more for the name.
Mine was a size 14, but I think it is a shade on the small side for a comfortable 14. It fits me fine and I am 12 to 14. I also found the arm length to be a shade long. It comes down to the heel of my hand when outstretched and to the mid palm when hands down by my sides. I don't mind that as it adds to cosiness, but I do have short arms, taller people may have a better fit. This came down just past my waist, so it doesn't leave my back exposed and this can be tightened up. The fleece covers up the neck to help keep the cold out. Cuffs are not elasticated so they will fit over gloves.
Ideal for dry chilly winter days. I'll try and post some measurements later when I find my tape!
