Some early Scooby Doo snacking delights.

The almost complete collection indeed! It’s about time we cartoon/animation lovers got a fine region 2 release.
Sadly this set has its lags.
I’m excited and pleased these have been released (Sadly Missing the Addams Family film) but the packaging is a little lacklustre.
The dvd box is a singular dvd box with a spindle inside with over lapping discs. A very cheap way to produce this set at the currently eye watering ÂŁ25 for a dvd version.
The contents are also double sided with the main cover of the box, so one has to pull out the cover to check contents or un-clip all the discs, a very cheap and annoying faff on.
I know what to expect from these delightful films and they look as good as the previous Volume 1 set.
The special features are nothing to write home about, but I’d have liked some interviews with Casey Kasem and Joe Barbera and William Hanna but that’s a mild dream.
The sound quality is pretty crisp and clean with no static.
No dvnr from restoration that I can see.
It’s a really big nostalgic set for us lovers of Not so classic animation (This isn’t classic, but it’s a fun watch)
I’m just glad to see Warner Home Video are pumping some life of animation to us in The Uk as we’ve been starved of it for years.
I’d say get this set because it is just a great way to go back in time and waste time.

At Last Classic Scooby Gets An HD Blu Ray Release!!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 July 2019Verified Purchase
At last, classic Scooby on blu ray!! A Great value collection of this classic series. The release earns it's title "Almost" Complete Collection, as sadly one episode, including The Adams Family, could not be included over a rights/copyright issue, but that aside, this release includes 23 episodes each running at 45mins approx each spread over 2 blu ray discs. The image quality is the best the series has ever looked and looks great on our 55inch tv and thankfully in it's original 4:3 aspect ratio with original mono soundtrack. The reversible sleeve contains episode info. Also included are some new extras. The 23 episode collection has a running time of 986 mins.
Warner have provided this classic Scooby series with the release it deserves, roll on October when Scooby Doo, Where Are Are You also gets the hd blu ray release treatment.

Good selection of episodes

Great collection of old Scooby-Doo episodes! Only missing the Addams family one! A lot of content for the price. I feel older fans will enjoy this more than younger fans as most of the guests if your younger than 30+ you wouldn’t have a clue who they were.
