The element seems of okay manufacture, it's not high quality, but it's okay.

The instructions came only in Chinese, so I have no idea how to use it. If you press the button on it it goes from 4 to 8 to 12, to 24. But 24 what? I have no idea. Maybe minutes of heating?

It doesn't work on regular mugs. You'll need to but a ceramic bottomed mug of you want the element to conduct heat well (this is true for all cup warmers).

Would I buy this again? No. Id pay more and invest in a higher quality one.

Does it keep my coffee hot now that I've bought a ceramic bottomed mug?
No, but it does keep it luke warm
