My first ever horror novel had me on the edge of my seat (and my vomit bag). I had to know what happened, and read it all in one sitting.
Witherow paints a bleak and hopeless environment and every turn is filled with more horrific visages than I could keep up with.Highly recommended.

This was an absolutely epic read!! One of my best reads ever! This was such a unique take on what happens when you die!! It was like reading a really vivid nightmare and it got right inside my head, creeped me the funk out, horrified me, broke my heart, and stayed with me, haunting me, for days, even when I wasnt reading it!! A very powerful and intense book! From the extremely emotional opening chapter, to the madness, mayhem, and brutality of the rest of the book, I was completely hooked!! I also felt for the characters, which made it quite an emotional read for me too!!

This book is amazing. I read it all in 2 days. I couldn't put it down. I love the callback to Feed The Pig from a different perspective. I love how Elias isn't scared to approach topics that other authors might avoid for fear of upsetting people. I love the world building in this book and the imagery and creativity that's gone into it is simply astounding.

Despite the books genre and Elias' general modus operandi, this book does actually have an overarching inspirational, uplifting message behind it - KEEP GOING. Life can be hard, but it's also a beautiful thing.

Buy and read this book. You won't regret it.
