The lids on the two small compartment holders on mine are so tight that you need to have freak gorilla vice hands to open them.
Maybe I got a bad model but at this point I would have been better off just getting some separate compartment holder for my powder and a normal blender bottle.
This is the exact opposite of convenient when I need to use all my strength only to fail at opening the lids then need find a cloth to get more leverage and still fail to open them. I am a 6' 200 lb man that can close 250lb captains of crush grip trainers as well... if that tells you anything.
Maybe my bottle is defective but this is totally rediculous. Probably the loose powder builds up where the lids screw on when they are rattling around in my bag but that would be a design fault. This was probably a wasted purchase and I'll probably have to stop using this bottle as I was just looking for something quick clean and easy for when I'm at work and not looking to compete in a strong man contest just to open the silly lids on the compartment cups.
*Revision from my first review*
It turns out that the plastic on the lids is so thin and flexible that if you try to open the lids with a moderate force that you would expect they become very difficult to open as the plastic deforms and locks deeply into the grooved. If you just use an extremely gentle twist while making sure the plastic lid doesn't flex against the groove, the lid will gently twist off after a couple of goes.
Kind of weird but I'll leave this review just in case anyone else has the same issue.
The bottle is expensive for what it is, but it's fine. It mixes OK, and seems to not leak. The issue is actually the 'Pro Stak' storage included - this is the reason I purchased this product as I need to take the powder and bottle to work and mix them there. The size supplied in a ridiculously tiny 150ml - this will not fit even a tiny 2 scoop protein serving! Making it useless for 90% of it's intended customers! But guess what? For the low low price of £11 you can buy a bigger 250 ml plastic pot that you can actually fit protein powder in! What a bargain!
I hope the manufacturer grows up and ships this with a pot large enough for the intended purchase, rather than gouging customers by supplying one so small it is useless and then overcharging for the bigger one.
I will be returning mine and going with a different brand (cheaper and comes with a 250ml pot as standard). Pity as I like this design of shaker better.
Firstly the quality of the product is great. The additional containers screw on well, aren’t too tight while being tight enough that they won’t fall off and the whole package just feels sturdy...I’ve been using it for about a month and it doesn’t feel like it’s letting me down for some time.
The shaker ball inside is very cool and does a great job in mixing protein powders etc in with whatever liquid you bang in there. It does sound like you’re making a cocktail when you’re shaking it so you will get requests for Bloody Mary’s and Sex on the Beach so be prepared (personally there’s not enough room in my work bag for all the bottles).
At £12 I did wonder if it was worth the punt but it genuinely is as it’s a quality product that feels like it will last for years.
First of all Ryo from the customer service team was 5 Star alone brilliant service. I bought the all black blender n i got it for an absolute bargain n even tho i waited 2-3 weeks for the product to arrive from America, it was worth the wait. The blender is world class n the company who created this needs a pat on the back really well done. Blender is separate with the ball inside n then the shaker has 2 separate compartments. When parcel arrives in the uk Royal Mail take over n post item.
This one comes with some features I don't use often - namely, two additional twist containers for pills/vitamins - so part of me feels like I could have gone with a more basic version, but I do use one of them on occasion for a pre-workout supplement, and the shaker is high-quality. It's not a huge size though, so if you want to carry a lot of liquid, I'd opt for a different model.
Has been absolutely excellent - I carry Huel powder for meals and this mixes the Huel with very little effort. The attached Prostak containers are great for carrying powder in pre-measured amounts, particularly good when travelling by air (no need to measure out powder while sitting in a cramped airline seat).
Only complaint - the mixing bottle is only available in 22oz (650ml). A version in 28oz (800ml) would work better for me, but the only versions in this size don't seem to have the Prostak container attachment points.
