I realise the interference could be something in my system but I tried it on another hifi in the house and had the same problem.
I don’t expect a lot for $28 but I would not recommend this product based on my experience.

Pros: $Priced under $25 / Synced fast to my phone/ Nice soft tone on speakers while syncing to let you know BT is discoverable (Note if you don't want then just synch device before turning on your speaker system/ Small/ Blue light is a nice touch/ Comes with cable and power adapter
Cons: BT is not new standard (That said I think new standard was designed for more than just audio and since this is purely audio system does not appear to be much of a limitation), Cable provided works but if you want high end sound you need better connectors (will cost you maybe $10 to $20 on up depending on how high quality connectors you want to get for hoking to this system), I can understand the power adapter, but since it is 5 volts and low amperage I think a USB cord option would be nice. Lastly no battery powered option although it would not be hard to rig up to a power bank.
Okay... I've had this a day now and as you can guess I love this device. The range for the Bluetooth is awesome in that I can bring my phone all over the house and not loose BT connection to my stereo. Only thing I don't like about writing a review like this is that it also makes a good reason to raise the price.. Okay I guess with that said if the price gets above $27 for this great device I would look at my other options if I were to get some for friends.
UPDATE: 9/27/2018 Yes there was a lot of background noise at the beginning of my review as my neighbor is having an underground pool installed in his yard; it was not noise from this device.

Again Please give this review a thumbs up. It is real. I've been on Amazon as a customer for over twenty years. I don't get compensated for my reviews. (Not that I wouldn't like to be.) I pay for Amazon Prime so I get any of the perks that come with my Prime membership.
The unit is smaller than I'd expected, but that just means it's less obtrusive. On the back of the unit is the power input and the RCA connection, which makes hooking it up very straight forward. I wasn't clear which input on the amp to connect to, so experimented. I did try searching online, but life is too short for the endless forums and threads. The Tuner input gave the best result [I found there was noise/distortion from the CD and Video lines and I have a separate DAC connected to the Tape input]. It provides a good transfer of sound, with no audible latency or buzz. I was initially underwhelmed by the sound level, but once the volume on the device [in this instance an Android mobile] sending the signal is turned up, it's fine and compares favourably with a Coax feed from a Blueray player which feeds into the DAC.
Pairing was straightforward on both devices I tried. You just push the button on the top and pair away.
The result is splendid. I had previously connected to a soundbar, which performed pretty well. In comparison it's laughable, the proper stereo separation alone is worthwhile. With a pair of Interaudio by Bose speakers in tandem with some small Tannoys, it just sounds immense. I did a 'full bass' demo for my 12-year-old son and he thought it was 'cool'. High praise indeed. I can now relive my younger days and open the gates of hell with my Hi-Fi set up. My neighbours can thank me later. :)
In short, a good adapter, but for use in environments where Bluetooth is very rarely used/not many devices. If it's all you're connecting to, you'll be fine, but multi-room BT setups beware - it will fight others to connect to your device.
Unit is small and unobtrusive. Its light so moves abt a bit so may secure it with a small bit of blue tac.
(I did put my phone into developer mode to increase the bluetooth volume, very very easy to do just Google it, a few clicks on the phone and you are done)
The key flaw is it auto reconnects all the time which is a massive problem when taking calls. The only way to “disconnect” is to either forget the device or remove/turn off the power - both options then require to be paired again. A bit of a real faff! And a real shame as I would have kept the product as at this price it is vfm but I can’t be faffing with pairing every time I want to play my iPhone through my hi-fi.
Biggest criticism of the unit would be the instructions - no words, just a few nonsensical diagrams. Having said that, setup is pretty straightforward and I was up and running in no time.
Easy to set up
Can now Bluetooth from my iPhone to my old stereo.
Sound quality is good.
Only one issue. Even though I manually disconnect the device from my iPhones Bluetooth connection it keeps on re connecting. The only way I can stop this is by turning Bluetooth on my iPhone. Anyone else got this issue or workarounds.
