I have several issues with this mp3 player: 1. On all the albums I transferred to this player, it put the tenth song in between the first and second song (see picture). Weird! 2. I bought this specific player because it has a bigger screen than other mp3 players in its price range. However, as you can see from the pictures, the album titles / song titles, etc. don't show on the right half of the screen. What's the point of a larger screen if it's not even being used? 3. The player didn't display most of the album art for the albums I transferred to the player. Instead I a picture of a turntable appears in lieu of album art (see picture). 4. You can store music files on both the internal memory and on a memory card, but if you want to shuffle, it will only pick the songs on the internal memory.
Needless to say, I returned this product and ended up getting a Fiio M7, which costs more but actually works well (what a concept!).
Works pretty well overall. I'd like it a lot better if the battery icon didn't always display a fully charged battery. I never have any idea how much charge is left until it suddenly dies (still showing a full charge). As another review mentioned, the unlock process is needlessly prolonged but honestly locking it isn't really necessary. Just press the power button to turn off the display and the touch buttons won't accidentally activate in your pocket or anything. Can be difficult to operate in the dark as the buttons don't light up unless pressed.
Edit: I can no longer connect to my PC to transfer via USB. I've made sure this issue is the player and not my PC. This mp3 player is barely above useless.
I purchased this at the end of December when my old Sony Walkman mp3 player died after 10 years of service. The reviews are pretty good so I thought I would try this. I use it maybe once a week. At first it was great but a couple of weeks ago, after each song it would crash and I would have to do a hard re-set to get it to turn back on and then it would be okay again. This past weekend it turned off right in the middle of the song. I am done.
I was initially impressed with this player. The case was well made, buttons functioned well, easy to navigate menu system, and simple to transfer music to the device. Used this player every day since I received it early September 2020, playing my mp3 music library at work and in my car. Did not have any problems with the device until today (Sept 27 2020). When I powered on the device, it was stuck on the "Music" icon on the main screen. The forward/reverse buttons would not change the active icon position of the main screen, so I couldn't even go to settings and reset to factory settings. Pressing the reset button on the side did nothing to fix the issue. At least I can still read the data on the player when connected to my computer, so I can retrieve my music library. There's $30 wasted.
A friend and I each bought one of these. After a couple of months, they both refused to play any playlists. It won't create them either. And they seem to come and go each time you power it on. I wrote Berennis and got this:
For the 'Playlist' function, you can click the menu button on a song, choose 'Add to playlist' and choose one of the three playlists.
But the playlist function is still in the stage of perfection, so I recommend that you use 'Browser' functions, which is easier to manage your songs.
Browser You can create folders and name them, classify your favorite songs and put them to your folders.
Never even got to use this thing. I charged it, hooked it up to my computer and added some music, then I turned it off because I thought it wasn't going to be in use for a while. A few minutes later, I changed my mind and decided to use the mp3 player and it would not turn back on. At all. So, I'm returning it.
This product has replaced an other MP3 player I have used for years. This was the perfect choice for my running and preparing for my next marathon. If I would have know earlier about the quality and endurance of this product, I would have ordered it much sooner. Thank you! Great product quality and fast delivery!
The day after I wrote this review I started to experience issues with the unit. For months, I have tried everything and nothing worked. When trying to advance songs, unit pauses and doe not play until it is turned off. Touch screen buttins are not responding to touch at all. After all, I had a very bad experience.
I did like this little mp3 player. It was good but only lasted a month. I had completely quit working. Will not charge, will not turn on, will not do anything. I had only charged it up once and used it a handful of times.
