I'm really upset that this isn't the shampoo I wanted. The picture is very misleading and claims it's Wella's original Brilliance shampoo, it's not. It's Invigo Brilliance which is their new shampoo that replaced Brilliance entirely and does not smell like the crisp apples like the original did. So if you're looking for the actual Brilliance by Wella, look elsewhere because this ain't it chief. :/
I've used Wella Brilliance for about a couple years, my stylist used it in her salon so I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the new formula is awful. The shampoo does not lather the way the old formula did. The conditioner is so thin almost feels watered down. The smell which i LOVED in the original formula is gone. It say "lime caviar" but the scent is so masculine and smells like my husbands cedar wood bergamot body wash! Save your money, the new formula sucks.
I was excited for this. My hair is damaged and I thought spending 30$ on my hair since I haven’t spent money on it on awhile- THISLL be great for my thick course colored hair. Welp. It’s like any other shampoo and conditioner. It has SODIUM LAUREL SULFATE which takes the moistures out of your hair and not good for color. I should of just read and not assumed it didn’t have this. Spending 30$ or 15$ for both- kinda made me upset. The size is amazing tho, I used to have sizes like it before and it last me months. I feel like I can go get 99 cent sauve and it’ll be the same result. Not soft. I’m going to try to return it, if I have the time and money to buy more shampoo& conditioner.
I’m thinking these are definitely not the real deal. My hair has been brittle since I’ve been using it and I’m known to have gorgeous hair. I thought maybe it was because of post pregnancy but I also realized the conditioner does not even close to make my hair feel soft. It is still tough even if I put more than usual, let it sit, and then rinse and run my fingers through it. Hmmmmm wondering if this product by Wella is horrible or if it is just fake.
I had tried this shampoo while visiting my cousin, I remember how amazing it left my hair. I only had to use a quarter size of conditioner on my long hair and it left it soft and untangled. So this is why I decided to purchase, but ... I’ve used the shampoo and conditioner twice and I don’t feel the same results. I don’t think these are the real thing. For the conditioner I need to use a handful to untangle my hair and at the end my hair doesn’t not feel soft.
Although my hair seems to be soft and manageable, the shampoo does not lather up at all. I thought it was the transition to a new shampoo at first, but I have used it now for over six weeks. Consequently I had to use large quantities to work it into my hair. It did not seem to be worth it.
Not good, both things are made in Mexico and I don't know if they change the formula or use poor quality materials but it leaves my hair weird and rough. It smells good though, but I can't do anything with that if my hairs looks and feels terrible. Has nothing to do with the original one made in Germany.
