Although vaseline is the more affordable, simpler version to moisturise your lips, I adore Burt's Bees Lip Balms, vitamin e and peppermint being one of my favourites. This is cheaper (in Aus at least) than from any chemist (inc. chemist warehouse) (chemists sell it individually, 4 - 6 each) If you know you like Burt's Bees and plan to use many more, I suggest you buy this 4 pack (I used 1 lipbalm in more or less a year, but these have long expiry dates) But let's say you didn't like Burt's Bees. Well then, please understand that this lipbalm is natural and (I think?) healthy. The reason I would not use vaseline (plain petroleum gel) is because it is not very convenient, but I do suggest using vaseline overnight and this lighter lipbalm during the day. The different flavours are extremely fun to use (coconut and pear is amazing too!) but the original vitamin e and peppermint is definitely an essential.
Burt's Bees is always good stuff and this was exactly as expected. Price for a 4 pack is good too. What annoyed the crap out of me was that something the size of two matchboxes was delivered in a box nearly the size of a shoe box. What the? Why could it not have been in a small padded envelope?? Very strange and incredibly wastfull. Love the product though.
To be fair I've only tried a few different lip balms, but this is by far the best in my experience. It has a nice minty smell but most importantly, does a great job in terms of moisturizing your lips.
Burts Bees lip salve is the only one which keeps my lips smooth and soft. It is never overly greasy either each tube lasts a decent time, probably six to eight weeks.
Buying a four pack made a good saving. Delivery was within a couple of days.
It goes onto lips rubbery and dry, pulling at your sensitive lip epidermis unnecessarily. That's just gonna create more lines and aging for lips. Not flattering not effective in making lips healthy or even look it. Don't know what's the deal with the positive reviews. I've used others that glide onto my lips and keep them supple and nice.
The lip balm is great - but this is literally just 4 sticks. It says it is regularly £43 and is on for £16! I assumed I would be getting 4 packs of 4. This is more expensive then buying the sticks individually. The lip balm itself is great, but this is a bad deal and false advertising. It says the cost is £3.41/10g. Well the net weight is 17g, so that’s a load of rubbish.
Love this lip balm, even though they last a long time each this value pack is a great value for money so I couldn’t miss. The balm leaves lips feeling and smelling nice And has no colour, Just natural looking shine.
