This was by far the absolute worst product I've ever purchased online period. I mean I've bought things before thinking about how I wasn't getting what I paid for, a piece of junk. Well, I have received my share puff regrettable things. But, honestly with even those things I at least got a little use out of them before they were finished. What completely surprised me regarding this product was that it was from Burt's Bees. I am a HUGE Burt's Bees fan and I truly just knew I was going to love this hand cream. Then I opened it and the smell of this stuff was so awful I absolutely could not use it. I wound up throwing it away after my stepdaughter opened it asking me excitedly what it was and she had stank face... LOL I'm sorry Burt's Bees, this product is a complete fail.
This is by far the best hand lotion on the market, so far as I can tell. It is, at least, vastly better than the next best of all the one's I've tried. It really does repair the skin on your hands. Mine was damaged enough that fingerprint readers wouldn't work any more, to say nothing of painful cracking. After several months of using this, they're good as new!
This lotion is fantastic! It is very thick. A little goes a long way. It is greasy for a few seconds after you put it on. However, it sinks in very quickly and moisturizes nicely! I actually got this in a sample size and loved it so much that I purchased it in the larger size. This is my second time purchasing this large bottle. The formula is consistent. It smells very herbal. The smell is not strong, and doesn’t last long. I use this as a night time hand cream. It works perfectly!
I usually buy my Shea butter at Sally's but thought I'd try Amazon cuz who doesn't like getting stuff at your door? Wow, I am allergic to many scents, this included. I agree with the review that said it smelled like railroad ties. So thick it wouldn't come out of the tube. The one good thing is it moisturized my dry heels. Gonna buy this again? NOPE. Going back to Sally's.
I love this cream so much. Especially in this kind of time we have to wash our hand a lot with soaps & hand sanitizer, and it’s gave us dry skin on our hand. So I use this before to go to bed, when I wake up, my hand is in good shape, keep moisture. This one is must have it. The scent is not really sesame cocoa, it’s more like lemon ginger which is very nice, calm and lovely.
I almost didn't buy this lotion based on the reviews! I love shea butter and this lotion actually is made of shea butter. I think this hand lotion really is one of the best for the price. The smell doesn't bother me, although I can see how people sensitive to smell might not enjoy it. I wash my hands constantly and this lotion helps prevent my skin from cracking!
I really like this product. I guess the smell is like cilantro in that you either love it or you hate it. It’s very distinct but I like it. Cream is thick and moisturizes well. Only issue is the seam on side of tube popped within first couple uses so it actually comes out the side of the tube easier than it does the intended place now. That’s small, I suppose, but I’ve noticed others saying the same thing, so maybe it’s something to fix, Burt’s Bees. Otherwise, this product is fantastic in my opinion.
I love this stuff. I had received a very small tube from my daughter and used it up fast! Had to get more. It leaves my hands so soft and silky for hours. It’s not greasy like many lotions are. I use it after exfoliating my feet as well.
Very disappointed in this product. Wondering if maybe mine was defective. It doesn't come out of the tube at all, it's very thick. What I can get out of the tube is chunky and doesn't smooth out on my skin. Honestly, don't even want this on my hands. Doesn't look or smell right at all. Very disappointed especially since I am an avid Burt's Bees user. Again, thinking my product was defective.
I've been using this product for years, but couldn't find it in stores anymore. Fortunately, they had it on Amazon and the quality is the same as I'm used to. I have super dry skin/hands and this is pretty much the only hand cream that keeps my hands from cracking and my cuticles from splitting. The smell is not my preferred fragrance, but the results of this cream make up for it.
