The product itself is great. But I wouldn’t buy this from Amazon because of the shipping issue and wrong adapter.

I’d prefer it without the plastic flower, but once you remove it, the water only flows into a few of the grooves - leaving stagnant water in the others which is what this is supposed to avoid!
With the flower its a bit better but its a basic design flaw that it doesn’t channel the water equally without it. It also doesn’t come with a UK plug, so you need to use an old iphone charger (or any usb).
Otherwise the cats seem to have got used to the flower now so it does the job.
The motor started off ok but became very noisy.
But my main concern is that I've noticed that algae grows this motor - I think this maybe due to the fountain's LED light. It not the easiest to clean because of the designs many nooks and crannies so it's difficult to keep on top of removing it. I use it without the yellow part of the flower to reduce the number of crevices, but not using the white doesn't give a good enough flow.
I see other reviewers have mentioned these issues too.
I recall reading that the pool design was so that if the motor stopped (broke/power-cut) your pet could still drink. Good idea but the water retained is minimal and eventually drains away anyway.
