We loved the revival process as our Mr. Chonky seal arrived flat vacuum packed! Came sooner than expected. The only problem was a split seam, which required mending with a needle and thread.

The pattern printing was very discoloured. Weirdly green or blue in places. Very cuddley still.

My dad bought this. It is soft, cute, sleep with it at night, ect. I thought it be bigger though. So if you want to sleep with it like a pillow you might wanna get the big one cuz I bought the mediam one and its kinda small but good. PLUS I have seen other reveiws and the photos kinda dont match put when i got this it LITTARLY looked the same the one with the picture. so idk hwtas with the other reveiws but its NOICE.

I bought this item for my houseboat and I’ve got to say I’m very disappointed by the size. It is smaller than your standard sized pillow and absolutely nothing like the pictures of people hugging a pillow sized seal. If you want the real deal you will have to go to the Japanese site and shell out the $60 something for the real deal. That’s what I plan on doing. This is in no way worth $27 at all, more like a $15 item, seriously.

I was attracted to this adorable, chubby seal, and just had to get it for my daughter as soon as I saw it. She Absolutely LOVES it! It is super soft, with a minky-type of fabric, and is comfortable and squishy, and is just the perfect thing to hug. Part of the fun of getting it is opening up the package that comes vacuum-sealed, rolled up into a tube-shape (see pics). Then, when you open the package, the seal puffs up, and with a little extra hand-fluffing, looks instantly adorable. I loved it the moment I saw the picture of it on Amazon, but after holding it, I love it even more! You must get this to fully-appreciate its awesomeness! It gets my SEAL of approval!

First of all, they come vacuum packed, which is just delightful. It's this flat plastic sheet with a grumpy face looking at you. As you fluff him, he becomes almost round, but still looks terribly inconvenienced.

Soft, comfy, moldable, this thing makes the perfect snuggle companion, and the absolute perfect airplane pillow.

I have a team of them, one for each side of me when I sleep. I travel with them with absolutely no shame. Oh, my fluffy carry-on? It's mostly seals.

I read the reviews before purchasing this seal in size medium and despite the numerous complaints of receiving a smaller sized one but PAYING the price for the larger size, I bit the bullet and regret it wholeheartedly now. This was a Xmas gift for a white elephant gift-giving at my work and I was beyond angry when the person opened up the vacuum sealed seal and pulled out the SMALL size when I paid $35 for that! WASTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this seal (now named Tub-Tub) as a gift for my sister, and she is now obsessed with him. He needed a bit of fluffing once I took him out of the package as he initially looked like a sad shrunken balloon, but with a bit of love he poofed right up. Even though he has a very judgmental facial expression, he is actually a wonderful companion. He is great for hugging & squishing & also just to keep you company, as he often joins us for dinner & fits perfectly on the chair (because of course he gets his own... how dare anyone suggest a king shares!). Overall, 11/10 definitely worth the purchase. You will not regret it.

This seal is very velvety and super soft. It makes a great stuffy to hug at night. However, the image shown is a bit deceptive. This is how my sons seal looks after 3 weeks. It is very flat and never achieved a nice round shape at any point. And that face. The face is printed/sewed slightly crooked. The result of this is a seal that, frankly, looks angry. Not really the round and sweet looking plush we thought we would be receiving.

Super cute little pillow pet. I got him because he is the perfect size to put under my injured knee to elevate. The stitching will only hold up to very light duty handling. I only use mine under my knee while I sleep, but just from repositioning, the stitching has come undone. So far i have had to sew his face and one flipper back on. At least the repair is not noticeable. Works well for my purposes and super cute.

I like him. I have the medium one. And it's expensive plush for $26. He's definitely not as chunky as I wanted him, but he does fit pretty well under one arm to hold. I got him because he was cute and he also helps elevate my bad shoulder. I took off one star because again not as chunky and not the darker gray design that was promised in the photos.
