We loved the revival process as our Mr. Chonky seal arrived flat vacuum packed! Came sooner than expected. The only problem was a split seam, which required mending with a needle and thread.

It's ok but smaller and less substantial than I expected. Less something to hug and more something to just squish. I thought it would be a bit pillow like, but it's really quite small, and less shapely, it's quite flat. So a bit disappointing really. Not worth the money. If I had seen it in real life I would not have bought it. Or only if it was $12....

I have three of these chubby boys. They are very soft and very nice. Because they come vacuum-packed, they are at first smaller than you might anticipate. But after washing and drying them, they were taken out to rest in the sun for a bit. This caused them to become the soft chubby plushies that I love. It’s priceless to come home after a hard work at day and to those faces staring at you. BUY THIS

I showed my 10 year old daughter a picture of the chubby blob seal and from that second on she had to have one. Seriously, it was all she wanted for her birthday. iPad? Nope......chubby blob seal. X-Box? Nope..........chubby blob seal. So, that is what I got her. She absolutely loves that thing and takes it to bed every night.

NOTE: It comes vacuum sealed so make sure you open it up and fluff it up, allowing it to get to its full size. That takes about 2 weeks. I was glad I did that before I gave it to her or else she would have had a flat pancake seal instead.

very good boy. extremely soft, extremely squishy, all around huggable. i’d recommend medium or large for maximum hugability. i got the medium and he is a little less than the size of my torso. came a little flat, but it’s ok, he can be squished to desired chonk. all around great boy. came extremely fast. i love my new son. great quarantine buy.

I absolutely LOVE this thing! The little face and flippers make it the cutest pillow EVER made. The quality was WAY better than I expected. Super soft material. It fluffs up and looks very real laying on our couch or floor (where ever our toddler sees fit to drag and drop it). Kid-safe for the most part. No button eyes or nose. It's all soft solid material.

My 7 year old purchased this for herself after saving her money. After removing from the vacuum sealed packaging. We followed the directions and allowed it to have 2 days to puff up and also per instructions put it near a window to get sun. I assume to warm up the stuffing to allow for expansion. In the product description it states the medium size is 17.3" long, 7.5" tall, and 9.1" wide. After following the instructions the seal NEVER did puff up to those dimensions. The picture also shows a woman holding the medium size seal that looks to be the size of a true pillow. All of this information is false. The true dimensions are: from nose to back fin 14" long, 4" tall, and 7" wide. My daughter was disappointed, she was expecting a much bigger seal. A pillow like seal. The only good thing my daughter has to say about it is that, the seal it very soft, squishy and cute. We are both disappointed with the product as we feel we did not get what was advertised. It is not worth $27.99.

I bought this item for my houseboat and I’ve got to say I’m very disappointed by the size. It is smaller than your standard sized pillow and absolutely nothing like the pictures of people hugging a pillow sized seal. If you want the real deal you will have to go to the Japanese site and shell out the $60 something for the real deal. That’s what I plan on doing. This is in no way worth $27 at all, more like a $15 item, seriously.
