A little bit of maneuvering to get her into the bag. Once in and pass we’re popped out she had no issue. I just hung her on the bath towel hook and then I was about a 5 minute trim. Worked surprisingly well.
Fits my Sky perfectly. I use it for trimming nails, putting in nail caps, and brushing her teeth. It keeps her calm and prevents her from squirming around too much....Great for visits to the vet as well!
I need to give my cat B12 shots in his scruff, but he's squirmy and I'm on my own, so I tried this bag. I got the medium size, but it was quite small. My cat is less than 6lbs, and he just barely fit. It might be good to be snug on your cat so he can't thrash around inside, but it's also hard to get him into it in the first place. I did manage to get him in, though. The problem is that this bag has an overlapping flap with velcro, which makes it easier to zip up but harder to access his scruff. I had to undo the collar to get access, but that opened the bag enough for him to escape. I'll have to return it. Seems good for nail trims or oral meds, though.
Well we received this yesterday and used it today. First time ever we got to trim all nails at the same time. Fit was pretty good we have a 15 lb cat and we ordered the medium size. Was snug but good. Little extra room in length. No bites or scratches! Not that he is bad just likes to play. There was no need to hang because there was two of us and the cat just went docile.
This works great for us. We have two cats, a large Munchkin with 3 inch long legs, and an even larger Savannah who is built like a Cheetah. They both hate to have their nails trimmed and we were paying a groomer $30 a month. We open the bag and lay it on the floor and set the cat down on the open bag. We then fasten the velcro around the neck and zip the back. For the Savannah, we open the front leg openings before setting him on the bag. His legs are too long to fit in the bag all at once.
They growl a little once in the bag but it is easy to cut their nail at that point and it only takes a few minutes. Strongly advise using a face mask after getting them in the bag as it will help calm them..
I bought this for my two Italian greyhounds who are prepared to fight to the death every time they need their nails clipped. I put them in this and they become submissive zombies. My husband holds it up by the handle and I clip and file their nails in 5 minutes. I am way less likely to snip too far and hurt them now. Worth the money.
This bag is amazing! Our kitty didn’t like the bag at first but once he was in, he got really comfortable and didn’t mind. He let me trim his nails and put on nail caps easily. I would definitely recommend fastening the neck part first and then putting the front paws in next. It made it a lot easier. I left the back part zipped so he could sit in there. I put him on the bathroom hook while I took care of him. He went and laid in it after I unzipped it.
I have a 3 yrs old cat and i need to give her medication for urine issue. This is my first time to give my cat medication so i give this bag a try. Bag is quality and feels durable. But the QUESTION is: HOW TO PUT THE CAT IN?
I end up to use a towel for the medication without the bag. I am not gonna return it but this thing doesn't work for me
Boy is this cat bag a game changer! We have several cats and one who needs daily eye drops for a chronic eye condition. She does NOT enjoy this experience at all. I decided to purchase one of these and give it whirl. I am really glad I did. This simplified the giving of meds to any and all of the cats. I appreciate the thought that went into the design of the bag, the zipper holes for doing claws, the Velcro at the neck. It all adds up to a much easier, less stressful situation for both the cats and me!
My 12lb cat took up the whole bag. It looked like a stuffed sausage. The Velcro was tight around his neck so he couldn’t get out. He kicked once with his back legs, the Velcro busted open, and he shot out the front.
