I bought these thinking that these would be like the same ones I bought in store but they are not at all. They hurt my head and snag on my natural 3c/4a/4b thick curly hair. The light blue one is the one I bought from a store Food Lion/ Harris Teeter and they were called blow-drying clips and the bottom one is from this website.
The colors are cute but it's not worth it. Don't buy these if your hair is like mine.
I almost didn’t get these hair clips. I usually use the clips that I think all women use. The popular ones. They’re prettier for picking up your ‘do. I’m so glad I decided to get these instead. I have medium thick, curly hair and this clip picks up the whole mop. See pics. I’m going to use them for sectioning out my hair when I blow it out and I can also use just one to pick up all of my hair. They’re very sturdy and I love them so far. I’ll update the review if anything changes.
Im a professional hairstylist and these came in very handy , with the current situation and demand in extra sanitation while living in a state with the highest spikes of corona virus , its helpful to have these in multiple colors to ensure they get sanitized properly. 1 color or 2 clips per client ensures they don't accidentally get used on more than 1 person at a time . I just wish I’d waited for after receiving these before bleaching my hair (chest length) for the first time lol. Bad choice using some elastics instead, resulted in some uneven coloring. These have made dying my hair so easy! Only thing is, gotta be careful when you take out a clip, as some hair strands might get caught.
I’m a hair stylist, I use clips A LOT, and these have lasted me the least amount of time. Within two weeks the bottom part of some of the clips snapped off. It’s been maybe a month and I’ve thrown away at least 5 of them already. I’ll be buying more but from a different brand for sure.
Breaks very easy. Sturdy grip but plastic tips break easily when trying to open the clip to place it on your hair. The metal spring is so strong that the thin plastic finger grips will snap. Once it snaps/breaks off, the clip is useless. I only have four (new) clips left. I’ve gotten one to two uses before they break. One did snap off the very first time I used it.
