I own 2 pairs of this style shoe. I really like Cole Haan for the quality and comfort you get. The pair that was delivered to me was a cheep imitation! They were manufactured in India and were delivered in the wrong box. the Authentic Cole Haan shoes were manufactured in Vietnam. The authentic shoes are a beautiful soft leather with quality insoles. The fake ones I received were likely man made material with a cheap insole. Bottom line is Buyer Beware here! Know what the real deal is before you accept a cheap imitation.

FAKE !!!!! I received knock off shoes

The shoes I received are knock off's, and not very good ones. I was replacing a pair of genuine Grand OS Cole Haans that my dog chewed on and when I received these they were so cheap. All Grand OS shoes have scooped out soles filled with memory foam, the shoes I received had memory foam inserts with no scooped out sole. All genuine Cole Haan shoes have stamped "Cole Haan" lettering on the insole, the shoes I received had printed lettering. I can go on and on. The shoes I received are also VERY HEAVY. Real Cole Haans are light weight. These fakes are so bad. I'm sending them back.

Comfortable, Nice Looking Dress Shoe

These shoes fit true to size and look great with dress pants or a suit. They are comfortable out of the box. I was concerned that the thicker sole would look odd but it doesn't - it's hardly noticeable in person. However, it does add a lot to the comfort where I found I feel the ground a lot less when I walk. It is noticeably more comfortable than the lower profile shoes. I don't know if this will help or not with the feel once the interior cushion wears out - which I found to be common with Cole Haan shoes after about a year of occasional use.

I made the mistake of wearing these on a business trip unbroken. After tearing through DFW trying to catch a connection my feet were in a lot of discomfort. The next time I wore these they were much more forgiving, and after two weeks they fit like a glove. The color, and finish is exactly what I was expecting. They are just a little tight out of the box.
