The shaver works well. However, someone in the design department did not do their job properly. The shaving head, the triangular thing with the three cutters, hinges open for cleaning and is held shut with a catch. The catch is located just above the on/off switch and that is the problem. If you hold the shaver under the shaving head to shave there is a good chance the catch will release and empty its contents over you. I think if the release catch had been on either of the other corners this would not be an issue. It’s also probably true that you are not supposed to support the head when shaving but that is kind of nice to do. In older models the face of the shaving head clipped on and there was no catch, which gave an unobstructed ergonomic feel to the shaver. Philips please do better.
Using dry is very hard to get to area under jaw completely, and using wet with shaving gel caused a serious razor burn and pimples... Coupling using it dry with a normal razor to get problem spots seems to be the way to go that I have tried so far... Altogether impressed with ease of use and battery life though.
