I've had many hair dryers, most of them Conair, but this time they really got it right. Ease of use, power, and I love that rewind button. Poof and 4 feet of cord is neatly rewound inside the dryer. Fantastic buy especially for the cost.
Though, i commended the Amazon's exchange process even though i got another short circuit wiring conair hair dryer.
[update] i got a mew one from a Bed bath & beyond local store. from the same company Conair. different model. i'm using for two months now. the dryer works great. Sad that people/companies sell and ship malfunctioning products online.
The green one was perfect when I had long hair (and its cool button was NOT worthless), but since it broke I decided to look for a smaller, less powerful one since my hair is short now. But I would recommend that green one to anyone who is looking for a quality hair dryer no matter the length of your hair.
This model works fine for short hair. There is not much difference between the hi force and low force, both are sorta "meh" medium force, trending more toward low. It's perfectly adequate hair dryer if one is not looking for something professional to use for styling. Me, I just blow it long enough to get it mostly dry and then I walk out the door, so it works fine for me.
