Size fits true to chart.
Because it was advertised as being close fitting, I chose a larger than usual size for myself.
At five feet tall and 137 pounds, I find the fit is perfect for me: loose fitting and long enough for the back to flatter my rear view.
For the taller woman the shirt was designed to fit, it will be shorter and more close-fitting, like it appears on the product description page.
The hem is rounded in the back, and the back hangs longer than the front.
The fabric, 52% polyester, 48% nylon, is soft and cool against the skin, doesn't shrink, and withstands both washer and dryer on their cooler settings.
Although it is referred to as a tee, this is a shirt that will go with anything: jeans, casual pants or a skirt. It is currently my favorite shirt.
I wash with Tide original powder with cold water and gain scent boosters and tumble dry on low/med heat. I did not notice that shirt had any shrinkage or issues with color fading or grabbing other colors. The shirt has really great stitching and no issues so far.
The crew neck is very high up and sometimes it feels a bit restrictive when I am moving around. I prefer the "light than air" shirt by Core 10.
Problem is after about 6 washings it developed holes.
