Formulated with an antibacterial component, Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, it evens out skin tone by reducing redness of the skin and fading acne scar and hyperpigmentation. * COSRX Centella Blemish Cream is not a moisturizer; it is more of a spot treatment cream for soothing irritated skin. Make sure to moisturize your face before applying COSRX Centella Blemish Cream. It may leave a white cast and may not be absorbed into your skin when applied in thick layer. Use it as a nighttime treatment. Note that spatulas are not included in the box anymore due to some changes made in packaging.

I have been using this on my dark spots for about a week and, whilst they don't do anything dramatic, I can see my skin healing nicely.
Because I am quite fair skinned, the zinc oxide in the cream also acts like a concealer or colour corrector for my really red areas. Again, nothing too dramatic, but it has improved the overall appearance of my skin.
Definitely recommend but don't mistake this for a super fast acting spot treatment. It's more to help heal your spots than to aggressively dry them out.

After doing research I found out one of its key active ingredients is zinc oxide and that this ingredient calms down inflammation.

Brings down the puffiness and redness but doesn’t really help with the actual pimple. still an amazing product because overnight my pimple is less red and swollen and looks better the next day. I don't think this is anything special. It reminds me of diaper rash cream, which isn't surprising because the key ingredient in both of these things is zinc. Zinc does have healing properties so I'll hang on to this, but it's not my go to.
