Because of the pandemic, I have to color my hair at home. I have been using Madison Reed hair color (which is really nice by the way), but their cup and brush set was kind of expensive. I thought I would give a cheaper one a try. This set is ok. Like other reviewers mentioned, it is flimsy, and it is really a one time use product. I did take the time to gently wash the brushes after coloring my hair, and I think I can get one more use out of it. Brushes are a little stiff and they shed when washed, but they work ok. This is definitely not salon quality, but it is ok for a girl on a budget like me.
The bowl came with a lot of Imperfections, came from the factory and they didn't even bother to clean the extra plastic that's extruding out from the mold. I have to sand the rim about the bowl so that my wife doesn't scratch herself while using it.
Not sure what I expected but the brushes were just so flimsy, I couldn't even use it on my hair. The bowl was too small so it was either fill it and hope it doesn't spill, or taking extra time to fill the bowl in order to continue dying my hair.
It worked as I expected (hair dyeing) but quality isn't fantastic (it's cheap plastic). Hope it doesn't release any chemicals in the long-term. There was no product details like materials and country of origin.
