Still too dry to work - old stock or bad formula?

I had to give it one star to get the review posted. It needs a minus star. I used this years ago without a problem, but then the manufacturer seemed to change the product: new product was very dry and difficult to apply. I didn't re-purchase it for years. Recently I was heartened by some comments online and ordered it again. Very disappointed indeed. The product still is very dry. It remains impossible to make even a slight mark without repeated scratching it repeatedly onto the skin with considerable force. Then it breaks. I sharpened it a few times, and took quite a bit off hoping to reach a better part, but it made no difference. Why is the manufacturer still putting this out? Why hasn't the problem been resolved? Does it dry out immediately after production?

Unfortunately for me this was a waste of money. But sure if the product was expired or just a problem with the product in general. It was like trying to use a pen with no ink...nothing would come off the pencil to draw in my brow. Ended up throwing away

Il faut peser fort pour en appliquer. Le résultat finale est très beau, mais il me fait mal lorsque je l’utilise. Je suis blonde, donc je prends la couleur la plus pâle & c’est probablement pour cette raison qu’il faut que je pèse fort pour voir un résultat... Mais je n’ai jamais eu se problème avec aucun autre crayon à sourcils que j’ai acheté dans ma vie... Je suis un peu déçu :/

It doesn't go on well at all. It's a bit like trying to use a regular crayon on your skin.
If you're looking for something extremely subtle (but not all that precise?) it might work for you.

You have to push so hard to get it to actually show up on your skin I think its a pencil crayon! Horrible product. Very hard make up that shouldn't need to melting the tip to get it on your skin to fill in your brows.
