To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This works for what I intended which is cleaning up my edges when I do my nails. I prefer the "dip a brush into acetone and wipe around nail base" technique but I suffer from horrible cases of "knock the polish bottle (or capful of it) over" with frequent bouts of "drop brush into the bottle and have to pour out the whole bottle just to get it back". I've ruined table tops, pants, carpet, shoes and once - even my car key from spilling it. This works well because it's low enough to the work surface you aren't likely to inadvertently hit it and if you did there's hardly any in there to do any real damage. I've used it several times for both acetone and brush cleaner and I've never had a problem. Amazon's price was less than the beauty supply store so I am happy with it based on that alone. I'm self taught on acrylic and hard gel and while I wouldn't suggest this for monomer (it's not deep enough to hold enough for even a fill) or acrylic powder.
