This is my second De'Longhi bean to cup coffee machine.
Dad who is 80 managed to break the coffee grinder on the old one by fiddling with the adjustment dial in the hopper. It still works with ground coffee, but be advised only to adjust the grinder one notch at a time, and only when the grinder is in operation.

The Autentica comes with the same health warning.
That said my new Autentica arrived just before christmas and I am super delighted with it and fast on my way to becoming a coffee geek; I can now converse in coffee and can tell you what the difference between a cappuccino a lattè and a flat white, a ristretto, doppio and an espresso, even if I'm still not sure how to spell them properly.

Bottom line is they all taste superb, because you can set the strength of coffee, the froth of the milk, and the size of the cup, to suit yourself.
There are four temperature settings too, as well as a cup warming tray on top to take the chill off your cups, but the tray does take 5-10minutes to warm up fully.

If you want your own particular style in your favourite cup, you can set it to dispense that at the touch of a button.
You can even adjust how long the machine will remain on standby before switching itself off, and another feature to set it to come on, so that eg it is warmed up ready for breakfast in the morning.
The milk jug can be swopped out, it fits neatly in the fridge door tray, for a hot water/steam nozzle for making tea or cuppasoup, but I'm drinking so much coffee right now I haven't gotten round to trying that option.

One unexpected pleasure was also buying the insulated glasses; they come in 3 sizes ie espresso, cappuccino and latte or very short standard and very long.
You can see the alternate layers of milk , coffee and foam in the glass, and no matter how hot the coffee the glass is pleasantly warm in your hands.
Well it impressed me!
*postscript: had it now for a month and I am getting the jitters from the amount of coffee I'm now drinking. Loving my coffee.
The water jug could do with being bigger but quick and easy to refill almost filled to the brim.
The steam/hot water nozzle could be longer, for making up a jug of hot milk, if you want to get creative/artistic pouring your cappuccinos.
Yup, that's how bad I've got the habbit now. 😉

He esperado a usarla unos meses antes de escribir y no puedo estar más contento.

Perfecta para todo aquel que le guste un buen café y no quiera gastarse una barbaridad en cápsulas.

Puntos a tener en cuenta:

- El Kg de café, comprando en cápsulas, sale a unos 40 €. Al comprarlo en grano te sale por unos 10-15 euros por lo que el ahorro, a la larga es importante.
- la cafetera tiene opciones para regular el café, la intensidad y el tamaño de la molienda, por lo que solo hay que encontrar el punto que le guste a cada uno.
- el consumo de agua no lo veo tan elevado. Cuando ves salir el agua antes y después de cada café mezclada con restos de café anterior entiendes la necesidad de ese agua que se tira, pero como digo, no es tanto. Le he puesto una jarrita para recoger el agua que usa para su limpieza y la uso para regar macetas

Os pongo un vídeo para que veáis la cantidad de agua que usa para limpiar antes de cada café.

- la máquina avisa cuando tiene que descalcificarse. Me salió el aviso hace una semana y todavía no lo he descalcificado. Lo haré en los próximos días.
- sobre todo... es comodidad, como con las cápsulas, pero ahorrando a largo plazo. Además, es mejor para el medio ambiente, ya que no estás tirando a la basura decenas y decenas de cápsulas de aluminio (o plástico)
- importante... el café sale más caliente que en las máquinas de cápsulas. Yo me desesperaba con las de cápsulas cuando a los cinco minutos tenía mi café frío...

Habe mir diese Kaffeemaschine gekauft da unsere alte Delongi Maschine 4 1/2 alt geworden ist, bis Sie das zeitliche gesegnet hat. Bin auf meiner Suche auch auf diverse Philips Maschinen gestoßen, habe mich aber für Delongi entschieden weil ich einfach gute Erfahrung damit gemacht habe. Preis Leistung dieser Maschine stimmt, Sie ist schnell aufgebaut und Angeschlossen. Das Menü ist klein und kompakt gehalten und lässt sich sehr schnell einstellen. (Wasserhärte/Wassertemperatur/Stand by Zeit...) Da das Mahlwerk bei dieser kompakten Maschine an der Seite sitzt muss, muss ich die Maschine wöchentlich verrücken um dran zu kommen weil Sie bei mir in der Ecke an dem Zugang steht. Hierfür kann aber der Hersteller nichts. Geschmacklich überzeugt mich die Maschine, werde demnächst mal Espresso Bohnen für die unterschiedlichen Milchgetränke versuchen, um ihn evt. Noch zu steigern. In dem Wassertank gibt es einen tauschbaren Wasserfilter der zu besserem Geschmack verhelfen soll und wohl alle 2 Monate getauscht werden muss. Kostenpunkt 12€.
Was mir an dieser Maschine negativ auffiel.
- Maschine erkennt nicht wie viel Milch in dem Aufschäum Behälter ist und lässt sich dann auch nicht von der Zubereitung eines Milchgetränke abbringen, kommt dann halt nur Luft aus der Düse.
- Stellt man eine Tasse normaler Größe unter den Milchaufschäumer spritzt dieser schön gerne mal bei der Zubereitung rum, da der Auslass nicht Höhenverstellbar ist und recht weit oben sitzt. Entweder nachhelfen und Tasse hochhalten oder ein großes Ikea Glas bringt Abhilfe.
- Das die Abstellfläche unter dem Auslass der Maschine ultra schnell verkratzt war mir bewusst weil es die alte Maschine auch so hätte, war aber kein Auschluss Kriterium.
- Schade das es nicht mehr Schnellwahltasten gibt sondern viel über ein Untermenü zu steuern ist.

Ansonsten bin ich rundum Zufrieden. Den Einwand mancher Bewerter mit der Lautstärke kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, Bohnen müssen nun mal gemahlen werden und in einem Zimmer mit einem schlafenden Säugling sollte die Maschine natürlich auch nicht stehen. Der Bohnen Behälter ist nicht groß aber bei einem normalen Gebrauch in einem 2 Personen Haushalt muss ich Sie 1 mal die Woche befüllen.
Fazit: Den kleinen Schwächen dieser Maschine kann man sehr gut entgegenwirken, Geschmacklich auf sehr hohem Niveau gutes Reinigungsprogramm, leicht zu säubern und für diesen Preis super.

I have had my coffee machine a week now and have enjoyed possibly to many coffees already. As much as i like the machine i do have a few niggles not so much with the machine but De'Longhi. I feel for the money you are paying for the machine they should include a jug as one is needed. I also feel that the instruction book could include clear instructions on how to make all the wonderful coffees their write up tells us it makes. i being a novice thought that i would select the type of coffee i wanted from the display and press the button and it would pour it for me. i knew i would have to manually steam the milk myself but it doesn't and there is no indication in the book as to how to make all of the coffees yes it says a little about cappuccino and steaming milk and espresso, but unless you have a great knowledge about all the coffee types you will have to do what i have done googled and watched many you tube videos which have been most helpful. now i know the difference i feel confident the machine is up to it. I hope this helps and i hope De'Longhi read this and step up

Máquina de café super automatica delongui auténtica capuccino

Compre esta cafetera automática porque mi mujer y yo somos muy cafeteros, y anteriormente teníamos una de capsulas pero nos cansamos de comprar, ya que valen demasiado y si comprabamos de las baratas el café no estaba muy allá. Mire diversos modelos y al final aunque se salía de mi presupuesto preferi gastarme algo más en una cafetera que se que no me va a defraudar. Llevamos una semana con ella y la verdad que estamos encantados con ella, el café sale como el de la cafetería o mejor, es muy personalizable ya que puedes ajustar el molido del grano en el mismo depósito donde lo depositamos, regular la intensidad del sabor del café, regular el tipo de café (corto, largo...) y a parte de eso puedes tu mismo regular la cantidad de leche y de café a tu gusto programando la maquina, se puede también regular la temperatura del agua, la cantidad de espuma para los que llevan leche (capuchino, Latte machito, café con leche, flat white...). Se puede también hacer dos cafés a la vez ya que tiene dos dosificadores de café. Se puede programar para que se encienda y este caliente cuando queramos tomar el café, y también se apaga automáticamente transcurrido el tiempo que le programemos. Cuando enciende tira agua para auto limpiarse y lo mismo cuando se apaga, cosa que veo normal para que siempre tenga los conductos internos limpios y sin residuos de café. El depósito de la leche dispone de un regulador que cuando terminamos de servirnos la leche debemos de ajustarlo a la posición Clean para que se limpie el conducto y no quede residuos de la leche. En el depósito del café en grano dispone también de otro depósito para el café molido, pero solo es válido para un café. Viene bien si el de grano lo tenemos para café normal y el de molido lo queremos para hacer un descafeinado. Dispone de un filtro que se pone en el depósito del agua para la cal y según pone en el manual, dura un par de meses. Trae también un líquido para hacerle una descalcificacion. Como única pega que le puedo poner es que al limpiarse tanto (cosa que veo bien) el depósito de agua se queda algo escaso con 1,4 litros, pero tampoco le veo un gran problema, lo compensa que el café este buenísimo y lo que nos ahorramos ahora al comprar 1kg de buen café en grano por 9-10 euros.
