I hate this thing. I read one review that this is good for any size books, including text books. False. If you want this for a text book that like 8.5x11 size and several hundred pages, look elsewhere. The book is constantly slipping and sliding down, or it toples over. I'm keeping this thing just because I do not want to waste any more money nor do I want to bother with the return policy.
The one pro is that it is mostly metal and folds down pretty flat

This document holder was exactly what I was looking for. It’s easy to use, folds up when not in use to limit the amount of space it takes up and has a few different angle settings that make it pretty versatile and visible from different view points. I purchased it specifically to hold my cross stitch patterns and I have used it every time I have cross stitched since receiving it without fail.

After reading reviews, I purchased this one to use for a piano sheet music, music book holder. Very pleased with this item,...so glad I selected this one! Perfect for use to hold piano music if your keyboard is on a table top, or flat surface where the area behind it is big enough to put this holder! Slant adjustment works great. Prongs that hold the music easily adjust to the size of the music. If you want this to higher, adjust the height yourself by placing this on book(s) to make it the height you want! Good value here! Only thing that would make this better would be if it is made in USA...unfortunately..the country where item is manufactured is not noted anywhere that I can find....so I am assuming it is not USA. But if you can't buy one made in USA, then this is a good choice.

This thing is perfect. It’s stood up to my 5 year old repeatedly bashing it in class and has never fallen over. It has handy tabs that hold the iPad up and it’s at a great angle for him to interact with his class.

Lovely appearance, strong construction. Nicely designed and smooth to handle. Am using it with sheet music but could imagine using it with a tablet as well. The adjustable tabs at the bottom are perfect because sometimes you want them right on the page and other times they could block your view of words or notes, and the ability to adjust them infinitely is just what's needed.
