While my kitten is a little uncertain about the new additions on his paws, I’m very pleased. This has made it possible for my sweet furry baby to sit on the lap of my younger son and my son isn’t scared of being scratched. I’m a happy customer. I was worried that it would be difficult to apply, but I was actually able to put them on my kitten by myself.
These were TERRIBLE for my poop kitty! The glue is just like regular acrylic nail glue. It leaked everywhere and got all over my poor kitties fur on his toes. It dried the fur rock solid to their skin and now they are in pain! Luckily I was able to snip enough away to allow them to use their claws again, but I can not recommend this product to any owner who cares about their kitty. Beware.
These work pretty well for my two Siamese kittens. Keeps them from tearing up our furniture with their claws. Relatively easy to apply when my wife and I both do it. I fill the cap with glue and she puts in on the cat's claw and holds it for a few seconds while I fill the next cap with glue. The tips of some caps wear off, allowing the cat's claw to poke through, and a few caps come off completely. But it's impossible to say whether that was from not enough glue in the cap when applied, it just being time for that cap to fall off, or maybe the glue simply not holding. Overall, these seem to be just as good as other caps I've used, but at a lower price.
These will literally save thousands of dollars on furniture from your pesky felines. They cover the nails great, I do have to apply often because my jerk of a cat spends all day figuring out ways to beat the system and he’s eventually successful, but that’s no fault of the makers. The colors aren’t my personal preference but my cat seemed to enjoy the green ones, he fought those less. However when I put the pink ones on him he fought me the whole time and got them all off in record time.
The idea of this is amazing. The execution of this is crazy. I bought these for a bunny as others have. I'm not sure why I thought it would be so easy it wasnt. I in the end burned 2 of my fingers with the chemicals of the glue. Glued his fur in chunks around his pad and had to cut the pieces of fur off. There is definitely a learning curve. This might be easier with a cat, I will still try to figure out how to do this by myself the easiest way. But don't underestimate the process.
Bought this for our two kittens. One especially likes to climb the curtains and claw the furniture. This is a great alternative to declawing which I’d never do. Our kittens are about six months. I bought xs but believe small would have been better. The xs will do til these make their way off.
This is great in theory but not so easy to execute. It definitely requires two people but even that was difficult. We ordered the extra small but quickly learned the XS is too big for our 5 month old kitten who is in the recommended weight range. We were able to get 3 nail tips on but you can tell it will not last because it’s too loose. We stopped trying since the fit was not correct. You will get glue on your fingers no matter how careful you are. For the cheap price, we will keep it and try again when kitty is bigger.
