I bought this for my daughter after she left her other umbrella at her dad's house and had to catch the bus in the rain one morning. She absolutely LOVES it! She could not wait to get to school to show all her friends!
Also, when I say "somewhat large" that's not necessarily a bad thing. My daughter is a five year old that looks like she's 10 (4' tall and over 50 lbs.) She usually wears a size 8, but they were out. I ended up getting a 6 and it fits her like a glove! Yay! Would highly recommend this company and will be buying from them again!
Like some others have expressed, the smell of the rain coat is strong. Hopefully airing it out will help. The set is very cute.My little one wanted this so badly and was very excited for it to come. The upsetting thing is that a few of the spokes on the umbrella are bent, arrived this way. We wanted to return for an exchange but little one does not want to part with it. She may be okay with it but the way the spokes are bent will eventually tear the material of the umbrella, so I do not see it lasting long. She will be disappointed and I will have to find a new umbrella somewhere else.
My daughter absolutely loves this set! The umbrella is good quality. The raincoat is very thin but can be used with another thin jacket underneath if you need a little warmth. It does feel like it could rip easily but we have used it several times and so far it worked fine.
Best present ever for my 5 yr old twin granddaughters who LOVE Anna & Elsa! Did NOT want a heavy raincoat - very thin plastic - perfect for our FL climate! Twirled those umbrellas thru out the whole bday party! Who knew....???😀
Well, the picture shows it as pink, but it's purple. Not only is it the wrong color, both jacket and umbrella smell very strongly of gasoline. It was so strong it filled the house. I left them outside overnight hoping they would air out. They did not. I'm sending them back.
