If you want a new level of energy, health rehabilitation, then get this book to understand a more tailored way to eat!
I guess the thing that surprised me most was that as an type A blood group, despite the very first sentence in that section saying ‘Type A flourishes on plant-based diets’ the author includes practically no plant-based recipes or meal plans! Indeed comments in page 375 appear anti vegetarian/vegan diets.
Be aware that you need to know the American names for things like vegetables (e.g Rocket is arugula, courgette is zucchini, rutabaga is swede etc etc). Some things listed I’d never heard of and can’t see that they’re actually for sale in the uk.
I’m still going to give the diet a go but it’s a slow process looking up every single ingredient in something as the lists are very limited and many of the things I buy regularly aren’t listed.
I have suffered for years with acid reflux and bowel problems and had endless appointments at the Hospital and paid a small fortune for prescriptions , a friend recommended the book and I felt I had nothing to loose, I took a blood test the result was blood group A and was blown away when the book told me A's suffer with their digestive system and advise I cut out wheat , Dairy , cabbage , oranges , bananas the list goes on BUT it was everything I was eating so........ I stopped eating these foods and have never felt better NO more indigestion no more chronic bowel pain and sitting on the toilet all night ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND I LOST 61BS in weight , Bonus.
