I purchased these light filters to use in my classroom where I teach Pre-Kindergarten. They are wonderful for reducing the awful fluorescent flicker, and I have noticed they have a calming effect on the students. They even have helped reduce my eye strain from the fluorescent lights. One very important detail I wish I had known was before receiving my shipment is that there is no actual "certificate of conformance for flame retardancy" with this. When the fire marshal came to inspect our school, they made me take them down because I could not "prove" they met the standard. Amazon was awesome and sent me a replacement order to get the certificate, so I could once again use these in my classroom, but there was no "certificate" again. There was, however, on the plastic package a notation that it meets NFPA 701. So if you are using these in your classroom make sure to keep the plastic package to show the fire marshal.

Easily put up. The lights in my room are narrower than the covers, so they billow out a little. Nice diffusion of light, not too dim.
On the downside, I was made to take them down by the electrical health & safety guy from the Ministry because they do not have a flammability rating. 😕

Love these! Takes the glare away and makes the work day so much more comfortable. I wish I bought these earlier! I have had less headaches and hoping it helps stop migraines from developing too. Super easy to install. Just use the sewn in magnets to stick to the ceiling tile frame and voila!

I get frequent migraines and in my research I found that fluorescent lights can trigger migraines. As my workplace just moved to a new location with more lights in my office,my migraines were becoming more frequent; therefore I purchased these filters in the hope they would work -- and they do!! The lights in my office are 1 x 4 ft and these are 2 x 4 ft so I cut them down to fit my lights. Either way -- these work great and my migraines have almost completely gone away. One of the best purchases I've made in recent years. Thanks!
