Seen a lot of reviews about only cutting metal for a minimal amount of time before blade is blunt.
This is NOT a cutting disc from a chop saw.
This is a metal blade with teeth, so if you force the blade down onto box iron or angle iron, ofcourse it's going to wreck the teeth, I've made around 2000 cuts of thick walled 50mm box, I know this as I needed 4pcs cut at 45degrees to weld as 200mm x 200mm squares x 500 for a project we were doing,
Not only were the 45s perfect, there was no burrs to grind off so made for easy welding and perfect squares.
And all you do is, use a feather like touch to cut into the steel and once you are 'into' the steel, then you can apply a tiny bit more pressure, but you really don't need that much, just remember to go really gently at the start.
Cuts through like butter.
