Here is an example from the Geography section : "Look again at the seven big pieces of land, called continents. Are they all the same size? No! One is much larger than the others. It is called Asia. It stretches west from the Pacific for thousands of miles."
Who exactly is this book written for? A first grader is not going to be reading passages like the one above, yet it is written in childish terms rather than in a style to teach the teachers. It seems that the author simply took a bunch of textbooks for older students and tried to dumb the passages down to the way one might talk to a 6 year old rather than actually write a book that would help parents teach their children.
Total waste of paper for this to be in print.
