4.0 out of 5 stars I think Ohkuma needs a good case designer...
Reviewed in the United States on 8 December 2020
I don’t like the case design. There are expanded part for reel and thinner cylinder part. The cylinder part is hard case where as reel part is soft.
The zipper opens only the soft part and not to the end of the rod. Since the size of the case is about the size of a rod segment, you need to take out and put in the rods diagonally without stressing the rods. Imagine 5 segments with guides, insert into the narrow hard case with limited opening!
If the zipper opens a bit more, an inch, it would make my life so much easier! I think the case designer didn’t think enough.
The case protects the rod for sure in my backpack though...
