The band is a replacement for another fitbit band that failed after a few months (working on a warranty replacement), so, hopefully this won't (potential buyers may wish to factor that into their purchasing decisions).

The strap is very comfortable, more so than the standard strap (for me). I was also surprised how easy it was to change the straps; if you're planning on swapping straps often (for different outfits or exercise / dress etc) it's very doable, in a couple of seconds with no tools.
Unfortunately the leather used on the strap looks very plasticy and cheap. The first comment I got on the strap was that 'they thought it was brown plastic' rather than leather. Furthermore, it seems like a buckle matching the metal of the fitbit would have been more appropriate than the brown anodise fitbit have chosen, which again makes the buckle look a bit like plastic. Hopefully it'll look better with age, but I wouldn't hold my breath, as most of the reviews for the brown strap for the Charge commented on how quickly it tarnished. I'd say the best example I could give of the finish is that the leather looks more like the stuff you'd find on a leather jacket than the leather of a watch strap, belt, or wallet.
All in all, whilst £40 is expensive, if the strap looked good quality I would be very happy. Unfortunately, it looks very cheap, with my girlfriend commenting she just preferred the bog standard black strap. Had I not taken it straight out of the box and worn it for a day I'd have returned it.
If you're thinking of buying one, I'd buy one of the aftermarket straps that are available in matt leather for £7-12. At least those look like leather and it's not much money to waste.
The only issue that I can see happening (even though it still hasn't happened) is unsticking around the watch module, which is what happened to my previous one after not even a year worth of wear. For this price, it might be a big negative.
It is very comfortable to sleep in and easy to put on and take off.
I got the small i guess for some the straps would seem smaller than what they'd expect. If you have an average woman size wrist then its a nice fit because you dont have the massive strap hanging over that could get caught. 12-17cm wrist would fit the small strap fine.
