I bought Pro-Shot after being very disappointed with Hoppe's patches. And in the end, Pro-Shot patches were much much cheaper in actual use. Hoppe's are so small and thin, that I needed to use THREE patches for a decent fit in my bores. With Pro-Shot...you need only one to do the job. And just today, after having found out the truth from earlier cleaning sessions, I was disappointed, at first, with today's Pro-Shot cleaning session...that is until I figured out that I had neglected to switch out my Dewey cleaning rods from the narrower sticks I use for cleaning a .243 caliber to the proper, thicker sized rods appropriate for my .308 caliber. After the switch, I was back to using just ONE Pro-Shot patch, instead of the typical 2.5 to 3 Hoppes patches for a decent swipe. "Go with the 'Pro's!'" :)

Oh be still my dirty little heart! The size of this package is perfect for meeting my cleansing needs in this time of uncertainty.
Sure, it's easier to drive on down to the local big sports box store and get 1/4 the amount of these for the same price and have them the same day. But great googly-moogly the sack of patches is daunting, and therefore do worth the three day wait! They seem to be just as absorbent and robust as any of the other single use wipes I have purchased in the past!
Do yourself a favor and get some of these patches. You can gift me a bag as a thank you.
