If it could, my heart would have bleed for Rainer. What he went through was horrible, and how it affected both him and Mali. I'm so glad they found their way back to each other and got their HEA as Rainer deserves it.
One thing though, I could have bitch-slapped Mali several times. I know she was heartbroken when Rainer didn't recognise her, but by not telling him, she was digging her own hole deeper.

3.5 stars for Flawed Love by Bella Jewel. Bella tries to give her readers a powerful story each time she 'puts pen to paper'.
Plot-wise this book is good. There are brutal parts to navigate through and the main characters have a unique relationship.
The negatives: some parts of the narrative left me frustrated and they were not completely believable. Sorry, can't elaborate without giving away spoilers.
The positives: put your seat belt on and prepare for an emotional rollercoaster ride as this book follows 'climax/resolution' to a tee.
I prefer book 1, but this is worth a read. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Loved this book this series keeps getting better and better Rai Rai and Mali had a connection a strong one but due to horror circumstances for Raiden his memory is fuzzy and he doesn't remember Emy but he still feels there's something there she calms him somehow and Emy keeps her real identity from him also there's Pipa he has such a strong bond with her and he's in love with her even if she has a boyfriend so the angst and drama is high but a beautiful HEA and epilogue don't forget the snippet about Raide in the next book I can't wait for that 4.5 stars well done!!!

Ever since I heard about Rainer in Pippas' book I have been dying to know what his story is and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Emy and Rainers' story was awesome to read. I love how their relationship started as friends first.
Bella Jewel you have done it again. I will forever be a fan. 💖💖

I really enjoy reading Bella Jewels novels and this one did not disappoint they just seem to get better and better. I have been waiting to read more about Rainers story from when he was mentioned in jokers wrath mc (I love it when authors write characters into upcoming series!) and loved how it unfolded. you get a glimpse of different perspective of Pippa and his relationship with her. you really feel heart broken for Emalie being in love with him when he loves someone else and does not even remember her! I cried both happy and sad tears reading this one. I really enjoyed reading this and flawed heart and hope she does more of the 2nd chance novels. I am also counting down the days until hard to fight is released to find out about Raides story

Heartbreakingly good

I have loved all these characters from my first book of jokers mc and am so pleased that each character gets their own story none more then emali and rainer who deserves his own happy ever after. I thought it was quite realistic that rainer and pippa have a strong bond that is difficult to comprehend why they need each other yet cannot be that way with each other then good friends. Emali made a tough decision that was heartbreaking to read and even if i could not understand why she would try to play games with rainer i guess she did what she thought best.

Bella adds another Jewel.....

To her crown with this series, I absolutely love that she has mixed the characters from these stories with the ones from the MC and can't wait for the next one and have already pre-ordered the Raide book, I love to get lost in her words as it does a good job of taking me away from my illnesses and keeps my mind most definitely active, so I thank you greatly for that. I'm not going to give you any details apart from the men as always are gorgeous and that it's always worth the money to purchase this authors books as you will never be disappointed, again many thanks and can't wait for the next instalment. Sorry it just wasn’t for me.

I really wanted to like this book as it was so my cup of tea. Sexy bad boy add strong tomboy equals love, complications, hut and eventually happy ending, but it just didn’t do it for me.
Don’t get me wrong Flawed love House of Obsidian is a nice story, a bit predictable but an easy read.
I thought the characters were only two dimensional and missed depth. The book seemed very rushed.
What I really didn’t like were the plain dialogs, do people really talk like that?
I would love the author to go over the story again and add depth, show inside scars/ struggles.

Good Story. Better Than The First
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 July 2015Verified Purchase
I enjoyed this story. It was a decent read. Not as strong as a lot of her other ones, but it is a stronger book than the first one in the series.
I said this in my review of the first book and I will say it again here. Yes, the constant (and they are every other chapter constant) flashbacks do give you knowledge of the back story, but with regards to the flow they just do so much damage. Plus, I found myself skimming and even skipping most pages with them as I just wanted to know what was happening with Emy and Rainer in the present.
