Directions:
Cook 1 cup hulled millet in 3 cups water for 25-30 minutes to yield approx 3 cups.

Product description

Four Leaf Milling Hulled Millet is highly nutritious, gluten-free and is not acid forming, so is soothing and easy to digest. It is a good source of protein and contains high amounts of fiber, B-complex vitamins, including niacin, thiamine, riboflavin and essential amino acids methionine, lecithin and some vitamin E. It is particularly high in iron, magnesium, phosphorous and potassium. Millet is also rich in phytochemicals, including phytic acid, which is believed to lower cholesterol and Phytate which is associated with reduced cancer risk. The millet seed is hulled, meaning the outer white husk is removed. It is an alkaline grain and very easy to digest. Suitable for porridge, casseroles, stuffing's, side dishes, soups and gluten-free recipes.
