Nice cutting, Run large

I'm a UK 8 for tops, UK10 for bottoms. I've got XS and it looks a bit oversized, I would've love it more in XXS if there was one.

I like the cutting, nice detailing, good sturdy fabric.

I love that the hood is large enough to cover half my face and it's shaped in a way it won't be blown away by a gust of wind.

The only major complain is inner pocket material (photo) is this much much thinner cotton that I suspect it won't last as long as the coat itself. If it was the same coat fabric I would have put more trust to keep my bank cards and keys in them.

Vor einigen Monaten hatte ich schon mal recht intensiv nach einer Jacke dieser Art gesucht - nicht zu kurz, ungefüttert und mit grossen aufgesetzten Taschen sollte sie sein, darüberhinaus alltagstauglich, also nicht so ein häßliches quitschebuntes Outdoor-Teil. Wenn ich zur Vogelbeobachtung mit dem Fernglas unterwegs bin habe ich ganz gerne eine kleine Digicam griffbereit, und auch für so Dinge wie die Regenschutzkappen, Lippenbalsam, Taschentücher etc. sind geräumige Taschen immer nützlich, weil man dann nicht ständig im Rucksack rumwühlen muss. Gefunden (und gekauft) habe ich dann nur ein kürzeres Exemlar, welches inzwischen auch schon oft im Einsatz war, aber gerade an frischeren Tagen hätte ich es dann doch gerne manchmal noch etwas länger.

Diese Jacke habe ich dann echt nur durch Zufall entdeckt - ich hatte mir von Goodthreads einige Sweater bestellt, die ich wirklich gerne mag, und da habe ich dann einfach mal geschaut, was es da sonst noch so alles gibt - und da war sie, und das noch dazu zu einem richtig sensationell guten Angebotspreis;-)

Skeptisch war ich wegen der schon vorhandenen Rezensionen bezüglich der Größe - mir ist im Moment selbst ein „normales“ XS noch manchmal zu groß, und die Jacke sollte zudem noch sehr grosszügig ausfallen... Hab sie dann trotzdem in 2 Farben bestellt (grau und oliv) und das beste gehofft, da ich eben genau sowas haben wollte;-)

Zu meiner grossen Überraschung ist die Jacke nicht soooo riesig geschnitten wie eigentlich erwartet, etwas großzügig ja, aber durch das eingearbeitete Raffband in der Taille kann man sie wirklich gut passend machen, ohne das es irgendwie komisch oder sackartig aussieht, besonders wenn man sie geschlossen trägt. Dadurch ist man auch flexibeler mit dem was man darunter tragen möchte, ein dickerer Pulli geht genauso wie ein dünnes Shirt. Wer es ganz figurbetont mag sollte vielleicht wirklich eine Nummer kleiner versuchen, aber ich finde das leicht lockere bei diesem Stil eigentlich sowieso schöner - ist aber natürlich Geschmacksache. Die Jacke ist völlig ungefüttert, das sollte man bei der Größenwahl auch berücksichtigen (damit bei Bedarf noch Platz für was warmes darunter ist).

Das Material fühlt sich robust an, in etwa so wie eine mitteldicke stretchige Jeansjacke, ich denke, die Jacke hält schon einiges aus, also genau richtig für mein Einsatzgebiet, und der leichte Stretchanteil ist mir auch willkommen.

Darüber hinaus sieht sie durch den leicht verwaschenen Look auch noch richtig gut aus, also auch etwas, was ich gerne im Alltag trage. Die Kapuze hat eine sehr gute Größe.

Ich habe gleich nochmal 2 Stück als Reseve bestellt solange sie so supergünstig war, und ein weiteres Exemplar in schwarz ist auch noch unterwegs zu mir;-)

Schön, dass ich nun doch noch fündig wurde - super Zufallsfund!

Diese Jacken sind sehr schwer und viel zu groß

Ich hatte eigentlich auf einen leichten Sommerparka gehofft. Die Jacke selber ist gut verarbeitet, der Stoff schwer und störrisch wie bei einer dicken Jeansjacke. Die Länge geht bei mir (1,56) bis fast ans Knie. Hier würde ich vermutlich eine XXS brauchen, obwohl ich eine 36/38 trage. Die Jacke ist eher was für einen trockenen Herbst
